STC Silver Hawks 11u - ‘09

Is your athlete looking for more than what her current team is offering or looking to take that next step in her softball career? Look no further as the St. Charles Silver Hawks have partnered up with the New Lenox Lightning organization to provide certain teams with that college exposure path.

With that being said, the Silver Hawks 11u team that just came back from winning the USSSA Midwest National Championship - silver division has been selected by the Lightning to take on that challenge of being the next Elite/A-level team.

Tryouts for the 12u team will be held in St. Charles on the following dates:
7/20, 7/22, and 7/23

For those who can’t make the tryouts dates or just needing more info (since these links can be confusing) please contact head coach Brian Shipbaugh (630) 857-8460 or [email protected] to schedule a private tryout.

As some may or may not know, but back in 2020 the Silver Hawks organization partnered up with New Lenox Lightning (see attached for more details).

With that being said, coach Brian had the following announcement this week:

“I’m very excited to announce that our Silverhawks team and our team only, has been selected to play as the New Lenox Lightning next season. We will remain part of the STC Silverhawks but operate as an elite level team, playing at the highest level, as a part of the New Lenox Lightning organization.”

11u Silver Hawks is in need of a sub (preferably an ‘09 birth year) to fill in this week at a tournament in Glen Ellyn.

Game times:
6/10 - 5pm
6/11 - 8pm
6/12 - 8am
6/13 - TBD

Glen Ellyn Phillies Fast Pitch Invitational | Glen Ellyn Sports Programs :: Softball Details: Each team is guaranteed to play four (4) games (weather permitting) – three (3) pool games and (1) Championship or Consolation Game based on Pool Play Results. If the tournament is completely rained out, a $100.00 handling fee will be charged. One game constitutes a tournament.
