I can't believe it has been a year since I started teaching in Bowie! I wanted to share some photos of some of the amazing people who I have had the privilege to practice with. This is not everyone in this photo. In total between my two mat classes and my chair class there is about 30 of us that practice together most every week! Thank you all for supporting me! I am very passionate about the benefits of movement through yoga and what impact it has on us not only physically but mentally and emotionally also! My focus is to calm the nervous system by using restorative yoga and slow flow hatha yoga combined, while focusing on the 5 natural movements of our spines to balance to our bodies. If you are interested in joining us for yoga its every Tuesday from 5pm to 6pm at the bowie community center. We would love to have you!

In this video, we will focus on stretching our fingers, hands, wrists—both extensors and flexors—along with the forearms. This is a personal favorite of mine and I hope you enjoy practicing and learning these stretches. I hope you all love these just as much as I do!
