Don’t ditch your routine cuz of a crazy summer schedule! Here’s how to avoid the summer fitness slump and keep your healthy habits:
🗓️ Schedule your workouts. Summer calendars fill up fast, so if movement isn’t planned ahead of time, it gets pushed aside. Put your workouts in your calendar like you would any important appointment.
👟 Embrace movement vs. perfection. Not every workout needs to be hard core. A stroller walk, virtual workout, family Stroller Strides class, or 30 min. Body Ignite workout all add up.
👯♀️ Accountability buddies. It’s easier to stay motivated when you have accountability and encouragement from other moms who understand the season you’re in. Surrounding yourself with positive support can help you stay consistent even when routines change.
😊 Stick with the basics. Hydrate, fuel your body well, and give yourself grace. Summer is meant to be enjoyed. You can make memories with your family while still taking care of yourself.
The key is finding simple, flexible ways to keep active and prioritizing yourself. You matter!
