What a night for START! All in all we went 5-1!
We went 3-0 for Fight To Win BJJ
Tyler Lee Halleland starting the night out with a beautiful short choke
Jhellani R Olton dominating the entire round and catching the win with a decision
Jon Heger winning via a dominant kimura (not wristlock)
A HUGE shoutout to coach Phillip Ingvalson for showing up and being the voice of reason in the chair for our guys and Jon Heger and Tyler Lee Halleland for jumping in the chair to help their teammates. We 🫶🏻 our team!
Next we went 2-0 for Throne MMA
Jesse Midas made an impact in his pro debut, coming out strong and skilled winning in the 2nd round with a hard fought TKO
Koel Seifert went out after over a year of back and forth trying to get this fight in the cage- dominated with a tko a minute in the first round with the first punch he threw causing major damage!
For three river throw-down we went 0-1
McCoy Tekautz came out strong in the first round and in the second made some mistakes and ended up on the fence the fight got to the ground and his opponent got the finish. It’s back to the lab now, his future is still bright.
A huge thank you to Angel Pacheco and David Pacheco for always stepping up to travel and coach our team. They’re crucial coaches to our gym and we are forever thankful and blessed.
Honorable mentions,
went out after an injury and opponent change, showed skill but got the L to a triangle!
went out and gave his best and came short with a L also.
Back to the lab!
What a night, team!
Let’s never forget that it truly takes a team to be successful and a team to help us when we fall. We couldn’t be more proud of the community you have all helped us build and for everyone who is a part of it. Thank you for showing up, supporting one another and continuing to make this something special. We’re so grateful!
Onto the next! Weve got Augustine Hahn showing up and showing out next Friday- get your tickets friends, it’s going to be a good one.
