Del-Tone Shooting Range Del-Tone Shooting Range is pure shooting fun, located just minutes east of St. Cloud, MN.

Del-Tone Shooting Range features 8 trap houses, a s***t field, 5 stand course, 25-50 yard rifle range, 100 yard rifle range, 200 yard rifle range, and a pistol range.

The shotgun, rifle, & pistol ranges will all be closed for regular shooting on Labor Day, Monday, September 7th.

Day 3 of the ATA registered Steer & Calf Shoot will still take place on that day.

As the days get shorter, Del-Tone will be changing it hours of operation. Beginning Monday, August 31st the range will close at 7pm on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. These hours of operation assume good weather. If heavy rain or storms are present, we may close the range during that time. Keep an eye here and on our website, where any changes or closures will be posted.

This September 5th, 6th, & & 7th, the 64th annual Steer & Calf shoot will take place at Del-Tone Shooting Range in St. Cloud, MN. Pre-squad is open via SOS clays.

Up for grabs is cash, silver, collectable coins, and a pair of beautifully engraved blackpowder pistols, reminiscent of a bygone area full of cowboys, cattle drives, bandits, hostiles, danger, & adventure. But just like the old days, you're going to have to do some fancy shooting to get out of here with your share of the loot.

For the 1st time ever this is a 3 DAY SHOOT.
Saturday - 100 singles, 100 handicap, 100 doubles
Sunday - 100 singles, 100 handicap, 100 doubles
Monday - 100 singles, 100 handicap

High combined singles and caps on Saturday & Sunday wins the "Steer" title, and a pistol. 2nd place combined singles & caps on Saturday & Sunday wins the "Calf" title and will go home with 3 ounces of silver.

All class & category winners on Saturdays "Dick Berger Doubles" will receive a vintage, genuine, and UNCIRCULATED Morgan Silver dollar from the 1800's GUARANTEED.

Stick around for Mondays abbreviated program of 100 singles & 100 caps. 1st place combined will win a thick 2 ounce silver Indian round, and 2nd place wins a 1oz. silver buffalo round.

ALSO - Pulled pork dinner on Saturday, compliments of Dr. John Houle. SO, clean up your shooting iron and get ready for a real shoot out.

Congratulations to David Michaelis, the 2026 Del-Monti champ! With a combined score of 568/600 he brought the trophy back to Monticello, and will have his name forever engraved upon the plaque of champions.

Also, congratulations to Mike Wenner. Mike won the high veteran combined singles & handicap with an impressive score of 377/400. Mike shot fantastic in the handicap events in particular, with a 95 on Saturday and a 94 on Sunday, which earned him a full yard punch.

THANKS AGAIN for shooting with us at Del-Tone, and also for shooting day 2 down in Monticello. Our next registered shoot is the Steer & Calf on Sept. 5, 6, & 7.

It's hard to believe, but fall is getting close, so close in fact that the 2026 Del-Tone Fall Youth League will be kicking off this Monday, August 10th. Our fall youth league is unique because shooters can register their rounds both at Del-Tone, or any other club. Scores posted at Del-Tone may be left with us in the clubhouse, and off-site rounds are collected and recorded by Coach Todd Kobienia of Foley via email.

The shooting consists of 10 rounds of trap shot at your convienence anytime between August 10th and September 14th. Participants who shoot all 10 rounds are eligible to compete in the Fall Tournament on September 19th at Del-Tone, in which there are league awards as well as tournament awards presented.

Also, a few things to note from Coach Todd Kobienia:
You can shoot your league rounds at any gun club in the country however please check with each gun range on their process as not all gun clubs follow the same procedures. If you're not shooting at Del-Tone you need to tak a picture of your score card and email it to me ([email protected]). Please remember you must declare on your score card "O" for official "P" for practice prior to the start of the round. Also please make sure your first and last name are legible and include your grade level on the scorecard--If I cannot read your name your score will not be entered.

2026 DEL-TONE FALL YOUTH LEAGUE PROCESS:
If you're shooting at Del-Tone on Monday or Thursday evenings please stop in the clubhouse and purchase ticket(s) for your round(s) before reporting to the trap range. Eye protection and ear protection are mandatory. Ammo can be purchased at Del-Tone or you can bring ammo with you---however make sure that it's trap load. Parents if you're purchasing from other locations please make sure the trap load speed is in that 1145-1180 range----absolutely no need for 1200+ speed at the 16 yard line. If you have any questions please ask.

Coaches will be on site by 4pm until close and the last round will be 1/2 hour before the gun club closes. Del-Tone hours of operation do change during our league due to sun setting earlier so watch for information posted on the door of the clubhouse. Once at the trap house athletes will be given further directions.

**If you're new to trap shooting please let the coaches know when you report to trap house---our goal is to work with you and share our knowledge of trap with you in a safe and fun environment.

IF you shoot any other time/days at Del-Tone please stop in the clubhouse and talk with Del-Tone staff about the process.

Remember all 10 rounds must be submitted by Sept.14, 2026 to qualify for the tournament on Sept. 19, 2026 at Del-Tone (more details about the tournament coming soon).

It's almost time for the annual Del-Monti Shoot, coming up on August 15th & 16th. This is a fun ATA registered 2 day shoot, with Saturday being at Del-Tone Shooting Range in St. Cloud, and Sunday being held at Monticello Sportsmen Club in Monticello. Participants are welcome of course to shoot either day or both, but special trophies and awards will be going out to the combined HOA champion, and also to the high combined singles & handicap Veteran. The 2026 MYSA Championship shoot will be this Sunday, August 9th at Del-Tone. This shoot is open to all youth shooters. Registration begins at 9:00am with shooting at 10:00am. The events are 100 singles followed by 100 handicap, and you can shoot either or both. The cost is $36 per 100 targets plus daily ATA / MTA fees. This is the final MYSA shoot of the season, hope to see you there.

Hello fellow shooters,

In the photos you will find the full program for the 2026 ATA Central Zone Shoot, to be held at Del-Tone July 24, 25, & 26. There is still room available in the campground if you would like to camp. Please call ahead to reserve a spot.

Del-Tone would like to recognize some of the tremendous shooting done by some of our very own here in Minnesota so far this summer.

First it was Allie Lauer back in June, winning the girls Minnesota State High School League state championship by breaking a 99 out of 100 in Prior Lake, right when she needed it most. Other ladies making waves include Myra Arvig, Delayna Rife, & Dawn Walker, who are all coming off a huge week at the 2026 MTA State Shoot in Alexandria, winning more trophies than we're going to list.

Most notably Myra Arvig claimed High Overall Lady 1 & Lady 1 Handicap Champion. She also won the class A High All Around. Delayna Rife took home the Class B High Overall, Lady 1 Handicap RU, & Lady 1 Singles Runner Up, after shooting an impressive 197/200 and then ousting Myra in the shoot-off. Not to be outdone, Dawn Walker took home a couple of Lady 2 titles, claiming both the HOA & HAA.

Pete Walker, won the MN State High Overall title with his score of 1068/1100. CONGRATULATIONS PETE, on earning your 4th major state title! Joe Opitz had a great weekend, taking home the Veteran High All-Around, and young Sub Jr. shooter Carter Weitz from Foley shot great as well, winning the sub jr. high handicap on Tuesday's youth day and breaking his first 100 straight in singles the very next day.

All of these shooters call Del-Tone home, and they represent us very well as they travel about winning titles and earning spots on both the state and All American teams. But they are more than just good shooters. CONGRATULATIONS to you all, and the very best of luck with the rest of your season.
