A lot of what comes with breaking a board is Yong Gi (courage), following through, and the ability to believe in yourself. We value the ability to do something even when you’re nervous. Not only do we get to record board breaks but we capture the raw emotions of disbelief, such as our student here! Very proud of him! 🤭👊🏼

Within 10 minutes of taking our first photo, we got intense rain and hail the size of quarters. We were tabling at a park for a 4th of July event. We were stuck outside for about 30 minutes under our tent as the streets near us started to flood. Soo what did we do? Train as the hail hit us 🤩😂
I guess it is true, ✨Soo Bahk anywhere and anytime! ✨

Region 7 attended the North Country Tournament in Michigan this last weekend. Armstrong BSBN held a beach clinic on Saturday, followed by a bonfire social at Lake Superior! Sunday consisted of a clinic before our tournament. Liz took first place in forms and second in sparring. Sarah Jokyo took first in forms. We wrapped up the tournament with 10 minutes of music sparring🫱🏼🫲🏽Congratulations to everyone! Armstrong BSB and Liz traveled to Whitefish MT and while there Liz tested for her green belt at the same Dojang where her instructor grew up and trained!
