Surfacing work has begun at the Whitney outdoor courts. The 1st two photos are from this morning. The last photo is this afternoon.
We're still not sure of exactly when the courts will be open for play, but it's fun to see them making such progress.

Tomorrow - May 2 - is our King/Queen of the Court Tournament, and we can’t wait to see you all at the Whitney Rec Center. (Address is: 1529 Northway Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303)

Here are your final reminders to help tournament day run smoothly:
• Please take a few moments to read over the rules/details for the day here: https://forms.gle/bC7EeVZe8tXQnbey5

• Check-in opens at 8:30 AM. Please arrive with enough time to check in, take care of payment, and get court shoes on/stretches done/etc... Rules and court assignments will begin at 9:00, followed by warm‑ups from 9:10–9:15. Play starts promptly at 9:15.

• Please be prepared with your payment. Cash is preferred, but checks are accepted.

Costs: $10 for current Northern Paddles Pickleball Club members.
$15 for non‑members.
You may also join the club: Yearly dues are $20, with the tournament fee then being $10, for a total of $30.

• We expect to wrap the tournament up around 12:15 PM.

• Snacks and water will be available, and there are water fountains for refilling bottles.

• If something unexpected comes up and you can no longer attend, please send a text to Sarah @ (320)493‑8097 as soon as possible, so we can fill your spot with someone from the waiting list.

• Come ready for some competitive, energetic, and enjoyable pickleball!

1 week from today! We’re officially one week out from our King/Queen of the Court Tournament on Saturday, May 2, and we are so excited to see all of you who have registered out on the courts!

A few quick reminders as we get close:

• Check-in will open at 8:30 AM, so please plan to arrive with enough time to check in, pay, and get settled before matches begin. Reading of rules and court assignments will start at 9am. Warm-ups will be from 9:10-9:15 with play starting at 9:15am.

• Please be prepared with your payment. Cash is preferred, but checks will also be accepted. As a reminder: If you are a current member of Northern Paddles Pickleball Club, your cost is $10. If you are not a current member, your cost is $15. You can also JOIN the club on tournament day. Yearly dues are $20 and cost for the tournament for you would then be an additional $10.

• We should be all wrapped up by around 12:15pm.

• We will have some snacks, water, etc. There are also water fountains for re-filling your own bottle.

• If you are unable to attend for any reason, please reach out as soon as possible so we can fill your spot with someone from our waiting list.

• Most importantly, come ready to have fun. We’ve got a great lineup of players, and the day is meant to be competitive, but enjoyable.
