RSD had a great trip to historic Marysvale. Although it was very sad to see the devastation from the summer fire and floods, it still carried a beauty that is Marysvale. One of me favorite places. Sam and Wendy Steed, owners of Rocky Ridge Resort were great hosts as always. I recommend them to anyone visiting Marysvale.

Yesterday was a great 9/11 Memorial Ride to the Grand Canyon. 24 joined us for a fun ride. After a 9/11 remembrance thought and a prayer, we launched towards the Whitmore Canyon Overlook of the Grand Canyon. Brief stops at the historic Mt. Trumble schoolhouse, we headed to the rim. We made our way back to the Bar 10 for lunch and refueling. The temps hit 98° at the rim, and 102 back at the parking lot.
150 mile roundtrip but worth every mile. Cant wait more next year to do it again.

It was a fun morning for a quick ride on the Arizona Strip. A few of us left at 7:30 am and headed for Seegmiller Mountain and overlook.
We got back at 10:30am, and beat the heat.

Rubber Side Down ATV Club had a fun day Friday at Strawberry Reservoir. It was our "Strawberry Fields Forever" ride. Thanks to the 22 who joined us. It was a beautiful day, clear from the smoke in the valley. 70° degrees made for a perfect ride.
We traveled about 80 miles through beautiful country. We saw 2 elk, and a few deer.
