Current hobby.. boiling carrots and mixing them into orange foods that my kids will eat 🥕
For the mac and cheese I blended them with the milk before adding to the noodles 🧀
Smoothie is orange juice, carrots, mango & pineapple 🥕 🍊 🥭 🍍

Pro tip, you can add more carrots to a smoothie, don’t over do it on the mac and cheese or there might be a texture issue.
Thanks to for the motivation 😘

Let’s throw it back to November 2021… I decided to do something hard and outside my comfort zone. Told myself I wouldn’t quit. I started ninja. After fracturing my ankle I wanted to come back stronger.. it healed but I could tell something wasn’t right. But I didn’t speak up.
After a year of being “cleared for regular activity” and my ankle hurting Every. Single. Day. I went back to the doctor and asked for the MRI I knew I needed a year ago…
Long story short, surgery is scheduled for beginning of March.
Here’s to the beginning of the actual come back 🥂 It’s gonna be a long couple of months but I’m optimistic about the idea of being able to use and trust my ankle again 😊
Listen to your body y’all. Be your own advocate. I 100% wish I would have started this process a year ago.

Banana protein muffins 🍌 🧁
Made these this morning from and they were soo yummy! 😋 Devin has been asking for another “muff” since breakfast.
10 grams of protein per muffin. I added a little cinnamon because cinnamon makes everything better!
Link is in my bio!

A story of how I get my picky AF kids to eat spinach in their pasta 👇🏼👇🏼

My two youngest are the pickiest kids I know, so buttered pasta is a staple for them.
1️⃣I started by adding garlic salt because it has the tiniest specks of parsley, 3rd picture.
2️⃣ I started adding a little dried parsley, 2nd picture. It has basically no flavor and helped the kids get use to the idea of eating something green. Slowly over time I added more and more. This is the step I had the most push back.
3️⃣ I chopped spinach real small and added that! I had almost no push back because they thought it was the parsley they’ve been eating 😂

It took a while, but it was worth it 💯 Pro tip, this trick will work for you as an adult too! If you have a goal to start eating more veggies (or really any goal) and that’s something that’s hard for you, don’t try to change all at once! Make small changes. Keep pushing yourself to do more/be better and before you know it, you’ll have crushed your goal!!

Need an easy lunch this weekend or next week at work? This is one I love!! 15g of plant based protein 🌱 💚 You can pop it in the microwave and eat the whole bag, or add a little chicken for some extra protein or to make it two meals.
I’ve also used this as a super quick and easy side at dinner!

✨ Your body looks so healthy ✨
Got this compliment from a client yesterday and I was SO happy!
Often times I get things more along the lines of how small I am, how I should eat more, that I’m too skinny or even women with frustration saying “I wish I could look like you.”
And while I do have some goals that are purely aesthetic, mostly I just want to be healthy.
A lot of people assume that since I’ve never struggled with being overweight, that I’ve never been self conscious of my body.. but many times people have felt they have the right to make negative comments about my body since they are calling me skinny not fat. But guess what, it doesn’t feel good either way.
Just remember to be kind. And that backhanded compliments aren’t actually compliments.

Getting outside and getting a little sunshine is always good for you ☀️
But I think it’s important to really emphasize it going into fall 🍁
Who couldn’t use a little extra immune system boost during flu season? 🤧
And did you know that your eyes need light to help regulate your internal clock? The sunshine also signals to your brain to be more alert and awake, hello energy boost! With all the holidays I think we all need some extra energy and better sleep!
Last but certainly not least, this is the time for seasonal depression. Getting just 15-30 minutes of sunlight can increase your serotonin levels to help combat mental health struggles, all year long, but especially in the winter months.
