And just like that, the 2026 season comes to an end.

Some of you are graduating. Some of you will be back next year. But every single one of you helped make this season what it was, and every single one of you is loved.

Thank you to the families for the constant support, time, and commitment behind the scenes. None of this happens without you.

Thank you Warriors for the memories, the fight, and the brotherhood you brought to Snow Canyon Men’s Lacrosse Team.

We are beyond thankful for our incredible coaching staff and everything they bring to the table. Their leadership, knowledge, dedication, and belief in these players has created a culture of unity, accountability, and brotherhood.

Thank you for the countless hours, the constant support, and for building something bigger than just wins and losses. This team is what it is because of you.

Huge congratulations to Easton Nowatzke on being named Academic All-State by the UHSAA.

This honor highlights student-athletes across Utah who consistently perform at a high level in both academics and athletics. Earning this recognition takes focus, discipline, and commitment year-round — and Easton has clearly shown all of that.

Proud of everything you’ve put in to reach this point — well earned and well deserved. 👏

This award recognizes some of the top senior student-athletes in Utah for excellence both on the field and in the classroom. Balancing varsity athletics with elite academics takes discipline, leadership, and serious work ethic — and Ace represents all of that.

And wrapping up our Region 9 awards, the Region 9 Player of the Year is our very own John Freihofner.

A senior attackman who sets the tone every time he steps on the field, John combines high-level skill with a calm, controlled presence under pressure. He reads the game a step ahead, creates opportunities when nothing looks there, and finishes with confidence when it matters most. Beyond the goals and assists, he’s the kind of player who elevates everyone around him—smart, unselfish, and relentless in all the right ways.

A leader, a competitor, and one of the toughest matchups in the region—this award fits him perfectly.
