There’s more than one way to wonder about your weight. 🌿

Maybe your body feels like it’s speaking a language you don’t quite understand.

Maybe you wonder if it’s been protecting you.

Maybe you’re carrying something that has very little to do with pounds at all.

Or maybe an entirely different question caught your attention.

Swipe through the trails slowly and notice what happens.

You don’t have to pick the “right” one.
You don’t even have to know why one stands out.

Just notice which one makes you pause.

If one does, comment on that image or tell me below.

I’m curious where you’d wander first. 🌿

What if exploring your weight didn’t begin with deciding what’s wrong with it?

What if it began with wondering?

🌿 I wonder if my weight is speaking a language I don’t yet understand.
🌿 I wonder if my body is trying to protect me.
🌿 I wonder if I'm carrying more than physical weight.
🌿 I wonder if I've spent years comparing myself to someone else.
🌿 I wonder if I’m trying to become someone I've already outgrown.
🌿 I wonder if my body is asking for nourishment.

Those are six very different trails.
None of them begin with assuming we already know the answer.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’re going to wander a little deeper into the Weight Forest and explore some of the questions hiding among the trees.

One trail is already open.

The others? We’re still discovering where they might lead. 🌲

For today, you don’t have to choose a trail.

Just notice:
Which question made you stop for a second?
Tell me below... or simply carry it with you for a while.

Sometimes change announces itself loudly.

Something needs to change.

We know it. We're done. We can't keep doing whatever we've been doing.

But change doesn't always arrive like that.
Sometimes something is already changing and we're only beginning to notice.
Sometimes we can feel something wanting to move, but we don't know what.
And sometimes?
We have absolutely no idea.
😂

I think we can underestimate how much pressure there is to know the answer before we're allowed to begin exploring the question.

So this Friday, I want to try something different with you.

We're going to explore what happens when transformation stops being an assignment.

I'll guide you through a short experience you can actually try with me; not to figure out who you're supposed to become, but to notice what becomes visible when, for a few minutes, you stop demanding an answer.

You don't need to prepare anything.
You don't need a goal.
You definitely don't need a five-year plan. 😄

Just bring something in your life you've been thinking about changing, or come with “I don't know yet.”

Both are welcome.

Somewhere along the way, growth can quietly become an assignment.

Be healthier.
Be calmer.
Be more disciplined.
Heal the thing.
Break the pattern.
Find your purpose.
Become the “best version” of yourself.

Even the things we genuinely want to explore can start to feel like evidence that the person standing here today isn't quite enough yet.

So I’ve been wondering...
What happens when we put the assignment down?

Not forever.

Not because nothing in our lives needs to change.

Definitely not because we should pretend we're delighted with everything exactly as it is. 😄

Just for a moment.

What if you weren't required to turn what you're experiencing into something better?

What if instead of asking,
“How do I change this?”
you started with,
“What's actually here?”
And then got curious.

🌿 Take this one with you: Think of one thing you've been working hard to change about yourself. For today, experiment with removing the assignment to fix it. Just notice it. What becomes easier to see?

🌲 Or wander with us (post your comment below): What is one “better version of yourself” you've been trying to become?

P.S. No fixing each other in the comments! 😉
We're just exploring.

Sometimes you know exactly what you need.
And sometimes you just know you don't want to carry something alone.

Even then, support doesn't have to look just one way.

Maybe you need someone who will simply listen without fixing, advising, or trying to make anything better.

Maybe you want someone to explore with you while you sort through a question, decision, or moment when your own compass feels a little hard to read.

Or maybe you'd like to borrow another lens and see what becomes visible when we look at what's happening through Ayurveda.

Three very different kinds of company.

There's always another option:
You can keep wandering on your own. 🌿

Take one of the questions we've explored this week with you. Journal about it. Walk with it. Forget about it for three days and notice whether it comes wandering back. 😄

Or, if some company sounds good right now, you can choose what kind:
🌱 Tell Me Anything — 30 min · $15
🧭 Inner Compass Coaching — 60 min · $50
🌿 Ayurveda Reframe — 60 min · $75

Which way from here?

🥾 Keep wandering on your own.
🌲 Or come find me at the Ranger Station and let's explore together.

The path to Meet Sivani is waiting on the EYH website.

Sometimes I really want someone wiser than me to just tell me what to do.

Tell me which choice is right.
Tell me what I'm missing.
Tell me which way to go.

Sometimes borrowing someone else's wisdom is incredibly helpful.

I've spent much of my life learning from teachers, traditions, books, Ayurveda, spiritual practices, and people who could see something I couldn't see yet.

Eventually I still arrive at this slightly inconvenient moment:
I have to decide what I believe.
I have to notice what fits.
What doesn't.
What I want to try.
What I'm willing to leave behind.

Maybe the interesting question isn't whether we should listen to other people's wisdom or trust our own.

Maybe it's learning to recognize when it's time for each.

So while I'm hanging around the Ranger Station this month, let's play with that a little.

🌿 Take this one with you: Think of something you're deciding right now. Whose wisdom are you borrowing? Maybe more importantly, underneath all of that advice, what are you saying?

🌲 Or come sit with us: Tell me about a time someone gave you genuinely good advice...that turned out to be completely wrong for you. Drop your answer in the comments below.

I have a feeling there are some good stories hiding in that second trail. 😄

September has a new guide at the Ranger Station. 🌿

This month, Sivani will be wandering with us.

You may already know pieces of her story: years spent as a monk, decades teaching meditation and yoga, a deep dive into Ayurveda and integrative medicine, and a persistent fascination with the questions that don't seem to have one simple answer.

But that's not really why she's here.

Sivani's favorite place to begin is usually with what you're wondering about.

Over the next couple of weeks, we'll explore some of those bigger questions together; including what it means to change, what transformation can actually look like, and whether becoming someone new is always the point.

For today, though, you get to choose where we begin.

🌲 Want to know your guide? Wander over to Sivani's Guide page and learn a little more about the person walking with us this month. (Link in bio)

🥾 Rather skip the introductions? Tell us something you've been wondering about lately. Big, small, wellness-related or not... we're simply curious where your mind has been wandering.

What if your weight could talk?

Not just the number on the scale.

But the heaviness or lightness you experience in your body. The way your appetite changes. Your energy. Your rhythms. The ways your body responds to stress, nourishment, movement, rest, seasons, and the life happening around you.

What might it be saying?

If Your Weight Could Talk is a live exploration of weight—not as something that automatically needs to be lost, gained, accepted, or changed, but as information we might learn to understand.

For so much of our lives, we've been given a surprisingly limited language for talking about weight.

Too much.
Too little.
Good.
Bad.
Healthy.
Unhealthy.
Gain it.
Lose it.
Keep it off.

Bodies are much more interesting than that.

During this live conversation, we'll step outside some of those familiar conversations and get curious about what else we might notice when we begin listening differently.

We'll explore questions like:
🌲 What if weight is information rather than identity?
🌲 What might heaviness and lightness tell us beyond a number on a scale?
🌲 How does the body adapt to what is happening around and within us?
🌲 What changes when we approach weight with curiosity instead of immediately deciding what needs to happen to it?

You don't need to be trying to lose weight.
You don't need to be trying to gain weight.
You don't need to love your weight, change your weight, or accept your weight before you arrive.

You certainly don't need to know anything about Ayurveda.

Just bring your curiosity.

This conversation also marks the opening of a new place to explore at Explore Yoga Health: Weight Forest.

Our first trail, Weight Language, begins with one question:
I wonder if my weight is speaking a language I don't yet understand.

We'll gather at the trailhead and begin there.

Come wander through the question with me.
