The Ladies of Venus had a great time yesterday at their Cowboy Party!

The girls got all dressed up for the occasion with new cowboy hats, bandanas, and, of course, mustaches! They were definitely looking the part!

Chanie and Carty brought some very special four-legged friends to join the fun — Missy the horse, Porsche the baby goat, and Woodrow the dog!

Carty and Chanie taught the ladies how to rope, helped them brush Missy, and took turns leading her around. There was plenty of excitement, lots of smiles, and probably a few new cowgirls in the making!

It was such a fun day filled with animals, laughter, learning, and making memories! We’re so thankful to Chanie and Carty for sharing their animals and their time with the Ladies of Venus!
Cowboy parties might just need to become a regular thing around here!

Venus Independent Living is hiring full and part-time direct care staff in Saint James. You would be working in an ISL (Individualized Supported Living) home supporting individuals with Developmental Disabilities. These are home-like settings with 2-3 housemates with varying support needs.
We are looking for someone that is caring, reliable, and responsible. You must have dependable transportation, the ability to pass a background check, and either a high school diploma or GED. If these apply to you then this could be a very rewarding job for you.
We offer:
Easy to use scheduling and documentation software. No handwritten documentation!
Paid every 2 weeks
Shift differential for evenings, overnights, and weekends.
Holiday pay is double time for 10 holidays per year (including mother/fathers day)
