The Suffolk Bicycle Riders Association is Long Island's largest cycling club. Organized in 1977, we are a club made up of all ages and cycling abilities.

Most people think confidence comes first and the riding follows. 🚲 It's actually the other way round.

You don't wait until you feel like a cyclist and then go ride. You ride, badly at first, a bit nervous, and somewhere in those early miles you quietly become one. The feeling is a result, not a requirement.

So if you've been telling yourself you'll start when you're fitter, or braver, or have the right gear, here's your nudge. Get on the bike. The rest sorts itself out in motion.
