The parking lot at the Bode Sports Complex will be closed Thursday and Friday, September 24 and 25, while crews complete milling and repaving work.

The project is expected to be finished on Friday, although weather conditions could delay the reopening of the parking lot until Monday, September 28.

Bode Ice Arena will remain open throughout the repairs. However, the early Thursday morning skating session has been canceled. The pickleball courts will also remain open, including for a scheduled tournament on Friday, while the work is underway.

Visitors using the complex are encouraged to park in the lot west of Bode or in the parking lot across the street.

The public is asked to use caution around the work area and follow posted parking and access instructions.

Things are taking shape at Krug Park! Construction crews are diligently working on the upper restroom, amphitheater/rose garden, and the children's circus. This project is set to be completed in the fall of 2027. Funding for the renovation comes from the half cent park sales tax approved by voters in 2021.

The St. Joseph, Missouri Marathon is next Saturday, September 26. The race will take runners along most of the Parkway System. Please be mindful of the police officers and volunteers helping direct traffic in order to keep the participants safe. Beginning on Monday, September 14, the Thomas Eagleton Indoor Pool at MoWest will transition to fall hours.

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. & *5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. & *5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Friday: *5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

*Limited pool space is available during the evening sessions due to swim team practice. The public can still swim during those times.
