GOLDEN PRESENT 2024
It’s that time of year to spread some Christmas cheer, with the return of the annual Hunt for the Golden Present! We team up again with Booze Clues - Big Discount Liquor to bring you 12 days of Clues and Brews to count down the days of Christmas! This hunt will again be a FREE to participate event, but we are asking for your generous donations for this time of giving. Half of all donations will go directly to Toys for Tots to help ensure children receive a present for Christmas. The other half of your donation will go to the finder of the 2024 Golden Present! To start off this years Donation Prize Pot hunt organizers will donate $100, half going Toys for TOTs, half going to this years finder! As an added bonus and incentive, if you donate at least $10 you will receive a BONUS CLUE to aid you in your search for the Golden Present! Your Bonus Clue will be awarded at the start of the hunt.
All donations need to be given by 12/18 as that’s the final day to donate to Toys for Tots, any donations after this date will go to the finder but we will not award a Bonus Clue! Join us in the spirit of giving and treasure hunting!

HOW IT WORKS
Search for the 2024 Golden Present on public land in Ramsey County. There will be one clue per day released at 5pm starting on 12/14 and will run through Christmas 12/25. All clues will be released on the Medallion Militia page, Private Group page, and website www.medallionmilitia.com and other facebook hunting pages. If you find the Golden Present you must report your find immediately, instructions to report your find will be in the Golden Present.
2024 GOLDEN PRESENT GENERAL RULES:
- Metal detectors are prohibited; using one will disqualify you and your team from any prizes.
- The Golden Present will not be hidden at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory.
- The Golden Present will not be hidden on a standard golf course.
- The Golden Present will not be placed higher than 5 feet off the ground.
- You won’t need to deconstruct public property to find The Golden Present
- The Golden Present will not be buried but may be lightly covered by leaves, rocks, pebbles, sand, sticks, brush, or snow.
- The Golden Present will not be hidden on steep hills or in dangerous areas.
- The Golden Present will not be hidden on any body of water. Stay off the ice!
- Stay off private property.
- Playgrounds are off-limits.

A grand huzzah to Ed Brodie and his mighty crewmates, Mike Nowak and Matt Littlefield! This bold crew uncovered the Cube of Infinity at Greenfield Park in Mounds View this very mornin’, and cracked it open within the fearsome 24-hour limit! The crew was registered and will take home the $250 prize and this Treasure Pass Season’s Ultimate Treasure: The Legendary Emerald Skull!

CONGRATULATIONS Chelsea Moody and her teammates Dakotah Johnson, Brenda Moody, and Nick C***i for discovering the Trovehaven Relic - Twilight the Amethyst Owl! The team discovered the Relic at about 9:30pm, 4 and an half hours after the 8th of 12 clues was posted at Horton Mini Arboretum Park in Saint Paul! Twilight the Amethyst Owl was wrapped in a black box with a fake plant growing out of it and was placed near the base of tree #54 the ChokeCherry tree! Chelsea and team were registered hunters and will receive the full $120 prize and Twilight the Amethyst Owl! Clue Explanations coming soon! 🦉
