Golden Eclipse made their return to the stage in 2022, with humble beginnings, and only a handful of dancers, they always had a whole lot of heart. With limited numbers but limitless determination, they built themselves from the ground up… earning every step, every skill, and every bit of recognition along the way. Last year, that hard work paid off. They grew into their potential, turning heads and earning multiple victories across many competitions. Golden Eclipse rose to every occasion, and they’re not done yet. This year, they return with the same hunger, the same drive—but even bigger goals. They come stronger, louder, and more fearless than ever. Led by Coach Summer for their 5th year, they’re here to prove that their rise was always intentional… and that they’re only just getting started. ❤️‍🔥

🔥 Meet Summer:

“Hi, I’m Summer, the coach for Golden Eclipse. I graduate next December with my BSN, I plan to go straight into the pediatrics or the ICU and then get my CRNA! I am a mom to one strong baby boy, and a 100lb dog named Duke! My other hobbies are singing, reading, and playing Animal Crossing!

This year I am incredibly excited to watch GE grow—not only as a team, but as individuals finding their strength and confidence on the stage. Every single one of these dancers continues to amaze me with their dedication, heart, and passion for dance. They work so hard, support one another, and truly embody what it means to be part of a team.

I’m also excited to watch the entire DLDS family bring their A-game for the 2026 competition season. The talent, energy, and spirit across all our teams is something really special. One win, one school. ❤️‍🔥”

Led by Coach Emily and powered by a team of 14 dancers, Lotus is stepping into this season with passion, unity, and a drive to push past every limit. This year, Lotus isn’t just dancing—they’re transforming. They are challenging themselves to be bolder, stronger, and more graceful in every movement. With heart, strength, and unstoppable spirit, Lotus is ready to rise, ready to inspire, and ready to make 2026 their most powerful season yet.

“Hi, I’m Coach Emily, and I’m so excited to be working with Lotus for the first time! I’ve been coaching at DLDS since 2016 and have had the opportunity to work with many amazing dancers. Even as I enter my 10th year, the excitement continues to grow. Although Lotus and I have both been around DLDS for quite some time, this truly feels like a new beginning for all of us. I can’t wait to see what we can create with one another!”

Last year, Emerald Jade returned to the stage, the name making its comeback after a quiet 6 years —rebuilding, redefining, and rediscovering what they were capable of. With determination in their hearts and a legacy to build, they turned their return into a statement. Now entering their second year, with 18 strong dancers, they are no longer just a comeback story, they’re a team on a mission. With higher standards, stronger chemistry, and bigger goals in sight, they’re pushing past limits and working toward bettering themselves through every practice. With Coach Laitxhia returning to lead the team and the addition of helper Bailey, Emerald Jade 2026 is elevating toward becoming the best version of themselves. 🔥

💥 Meet Lai:

“I find myself enjoying teaching older dancers more than any other age group. Their mentality, maturity, and ability to connect all areas of dance to their personal and artistic abilities always surprises me, and reminds me of why, no matter how old or young they are, engaging in and nurturing their love of dance is so important in their journey’s. I am so excited to be returning with EJ this year, and already know that they are going to make a grand slam appearance when the time comes! 😎”

“Hi, my name is Bailey Chang. This is my first year being a part of Emerald Jade’s leadership team and my first time leading a varsity team. I’m really excited to step into this new chapter of my leadership journey. I believe this experience will challenge me, broaden my perspective, and help me grow in so many ways. I’m truly looking forward to growing alongside the team 💚”

Team StarFire is back at it for year four! Year four is bringing in new beginnings— a new coach, new helper, and 8 new faces. This year, led by Coach Kasia and helper Pinky, StarFire is made up of 17 vibrant, high-spirited young dancers. StarFire made their mark last season, placing 2nd at the LaCrosse Hmong New Year and are hoping to make another mark this season. With their goals set and their minds focused, this team is stepping into the season with unstoppable energy. Fueled by high vibrations and a passion for the stage, with a chemistry that is undeniable, supporting one another, and pushing each other to be better every day, StarFire isn’t just here to perform… they’re here to make an impact.

“Hi! My name is Kasia and I am StarFire’s coach for the 2026 season. This will be my first year with StarFire and I am so excited to work with them! “Hi! My name is Pinky Vaj, and this is my first year as Starfire’s helper. Starfire is a team full of hardworking and energetic dancers, always finding joy in what they do. Their love for dance is truly inspiring.

Entering their second year, Vibrance is returning with a nearly brand-new roster and a fresh wave of talent. While many new faces have joined the lineup, one thing hasn’t changed, their determination to succeed. As a first-year team last season, they proved what they were capable of by achieving impressive success and setting the bar high. Now, with new dancers and a new mentor, they’re bringing new energy combined with the same relentless drive they had last year… ready to take on every challenge that comes their way. Taught by mentor Grace and teacher Dao Lan, Vibrance is ready to prove themselves once again and are prepared to make their mark! 🌟

“Hello everyone! My name is Grace, and I’m so excited for this upcoming dance season. After about 5 years of dancing and spending the last year as a helper, I’m incredibly grateful to now be stepping into my first year as a mentor.

Being trusted with a group of 20 little dancers is something I don’t take lightly. I’m beyond excited to guide them, watch them grow, and see their love and passion for dance begin to blossom. I’m so proud of these dancers already and can’t wait to see how much they flourish throughout the season. We’re excited for everything that’s ahead and ready to give it our all! ❤️‍🔥”

Entering their fourth year, Eternal Embers returns stronger, wiser, and with a new level of determination. Last season was a year of rebuilding, with an almost entirely new roster learning, growing, and finding their rhythm together. Through every practice, performance, and challenge, they proved that heart and dedication can turn fresh beginnings into powerful momentum. They are stepping into this new season with renewed focus, stronger bonds, and the confidence that comes from a year of growth. No longer just learning the ropes, they are ready to push themselves further, embrace every challenge, and show exactly what they’re capable of. “Hello, my name is Karina and I am the mentor for Eternal Embers 2026. This will be my second year mentoring and something i’ve grown to love about this role is being able to see the full perspective of the beauty in dance. The passion and dedication from each dancer, parent, and everyone else who controls it all makes it all so magical and worth waiting to see the results!

I’ve grown to love and appreciate every moment that comes along with this journey, specially the bonds and creativity that gets showcased from every team. It all makes me extremely excited to see what DLDS has to bring this year!”

Back for their second year, a tiny but mighty team, Skylite is ready to light up the stage once again. With a bigger roster and even more adorable new faces, they’re bringing twice the energy, twice the excitement, and plenty of heart. Though they may be the youngest team in DLDS, don’t let their size fool you—these dancers are full of spirit, determination, and fearless confidence.They may be small, but they dance big. Led by Coach Kasia and helper Chelsee, Skylite is here to prove that sometimes the mightiest performances come from the littlest dancers. 💫🩰

“I am so excited to be back with Skylite for year 2! This group is so silly, energetic, and fun– they keep me on my toes and remind me that dance isn’t always about being perfect. Last season showed us that with lot’s of practice, hard work, and heart, anything is possible. These kiddos are so ready to work and take on whatever challenges await them. I can’t wait to see where this year will take us! Watch out for our little caterpillars turned butterflies! 🦋✨”

“Hello, My name is Chelsee Ching Ying Vang. I am Skylite's helper! What I love most about helping Skylite is watching each dancer grow. I love seeing their growth from their very 1st practice to our current practice. Being a helper isn't just about teaching. It's about spreading the love and beauty of dance to all dancers. Seeing the confidence flow from my dancers as each day passes is truly one of the best things I could ever ask for. ✨️”

Team Clementine is back for their 4th year! Led by Coach Emily and their new helper Kylie, this team is bringing the energy bigger and better than ever before. If you already know Team Clementine, then you know exactly what’s coming—sass, confidence, and sways for days. And trust us… their hips do NOT lie! This season, Clementine is made up of 17 small but mighty dancers who are growing more and more every day. They’re already taking on advanced skills, learning new flips and tricks, and bringing high-energy choreography that will keep you on the edge of your seat. They may be small, but don’t let that fool you, be ready to be surprised and amazed when you see them hit the stage! 💥

“Hi, I’m Coach Emily, and this will be my 3rd year with Clementine! My favorite part about being with this team is that they always manage to surprise me. Nothing is ever too hard for them because they have hearts full of gold and take on every challenge head-on. I’m truly so lucky to coach a team of such hardworking dancers at such a young age. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them!”

Starting out as a young team, Venus has had a history of success, they’ve proven time and time again that they know how to show up. Competition after competition, they’ve taken the stage with confidence and left with victories to show for it. Now, as they step into their 7th year, the expectations are higher and the pressure is on. With a new coach leading the way, they’re stepping into the season with a new spark, determination, and something to prove. Even though the year is just beginning, they’re already putting in the work, pushing through long practices and sharpening every move. Coached by Laitxhia and helper Izzy, they are ambitious, focused, and ready to rise to the occasion. “Hi! My name is Izzy, and dance has always been my safe space. Last year with team Vibrance, stepping into a mentorship role taught me so much about myself and how much I value supporting, leading, and encouraging other dancers as they grow.
