Seriously! Slow intentional breathing can have several health benefits:
- Full oxygen and CO2 exchange
- Lower blood pressure
- Reduce stress
- Stop fight or flight stress response by activating a relaxation response (parasympathetic nervous system)

What a beautiful message your life has been. Thank you Thich Nhat Hahn for the wisdom you gave to us. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. called Nahn an "an apostle of peace and non-violence." Rest in peace.
Through his official Twitter account we have been invited as a "beloved global spiritual family to take a few moments to be still, to come back to our mindful breathing, as we together hold Thay in our hearts."

Today we celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. here in the United States. Yoga means union. Union within leads to union without. As a practitioner of yoga, on and off the mat, I will continue to work towards a world where there is peace and justice for all. Dr. King left us with his dream for a better world, and we still have work to do.

It's been awhile with lots of changes going on with Flow On Yoga. I have temporarily stopped producing online content. I do plan to restart at some point in the future and will let you all know as soon as I do. In the meantime, I am offering in-person classes in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
