Rice and Arlington Field

Hello all,

I just wanted to take a moment to update all of the teams with regards to the beginning of the upcoming St. Paul Municipal Athletics Outdoor Broomball season. With our unseasonably warm weather thus far, we will not be starting as scheduled on Thursday, December 17.

Currently we do not have any frost in the ground to provide a solid base for making ice and with the majority of the next 10 days above freezing I am not sure when we will be able to start the season. With that said, I have not started to work on schedules and when I have an idea of when we will be able to start I will communicate that with you. Once a start date has been settled on, I will have schedules out about a week before your night is ultimately slated to begin. Until then, I appreciate everybody’s patience as we can’t do anything to nudge Mother Nature in the right direction.
