Earning All-State honors during her final bowling season, Highland Park Senior's McKenzie Green finished the regular adapted bowling season as the No. 1 ranked player in Minnesota and placed fifth at the state tournament in singles. Playing for the Humboldt High School Hawks, she also went to state with the adapted floor hockey team and played on the adapted softball and soccer teams as well. She will continue her education at Focus Beyond Transition Services next year.
โMcKenzie has played on our adapted soccer, floor hockey, softball and bowling teams for four years,โ said her coach Mary Bohland. โMcKenzie is one of the most coachable players we have ever had. She works hard to improve herself and also at helping others reach their abilities. We may not have won every game, but we did learn something every game with sportsmanship being our No. 1.โ
