This exceptional John Jensen rainbow trout measures 10 1/2” long. The body is fully detailed with cut in scales. The gill and mouth features are carved and the eyes are glass. LEROY HOWELL SUCKER 1950
Leroy Howell fish decoys are highly collectible and seldom offered for sale. His work with the large, carved, wooden tails are especially difficult to come by in good, original condition. This example is 9" long and has double incised eyes and a carved sucker mouth. The condition is super nice and original with light wear and some very normal corrosion to the edge of the fin on the right side of the body. This Frank Mizera pike is painted in a classic red and white with black and white accents. It has a very long and sleek body and dates to the 1950s. The length is 9". CYRIL BETHEL SUNFISH 1960s.
Here is a highly unusual and very collectible sunfish by Cyril Bethel. It is 7 1/4" long and has a cut out mouth. The decoy is painted in a blended green and orange on the body with red accents. The fins are painted green with white accents.
In over 20 years of selling fish decoys, this is the first Cyril Bethel sunfish we have seen. It has the classic eyes painted on top of the head and the standard cut back fin shape. It is in beautiful, original condition with light wear and minor paint loss to the metal fins. Price $175.00. SOLD

Check out this super rare, extra large John Snow (deceased) Muskie. John Snow is a Native American fish decoy carver from the Lac Du Flambeau in Northern Wisconsin. His decoys are highly collectible. Today we are featuring some very difficult to find fish decoys by Minnesota maker John Motherway. Mr Motherway made most of his decoys in the 1940s and collector interest in them is extremely strong. Most of his work is found in various shades of cream, gray, silver and black with yellow also being seen on occasion.

Today we are featuring a few decoys by old time Minnesota maker William Harrison. Harrison lived in Crosby, Minnesota. He passed away in 1962 and worked as a security guard in the mines as well as a carpenter. His decoys are highly collectible and seldom seen. Today we are picturing two pike and a super rare sunfish. The sunfish and large pike are currently available in our catalog at www.fishdecoy.net . The unusually small pike minnow is 3 1/2" long and is available exclusively to our facebook friends for $75. This decoy is completely original but does have a chip and some wear to the upper tail tip. The sunfish is incredibly rare and is the only panfish form we have seen by this maker in over 20 years of dealing in spearing decoys. SOLD
