(2/2) Although rugby is the main objective of tour, we did have ourselves some fun…
We walked the cobblestone streets of Lisbon in matching shirts. We saw mother nature’s power in the waves of Nazare (an attempted sacrifice of Rob was thwarted). We traveled down the canals of Aveiro. We drank Port under the bridges of Porto. And we drank beers by the boxload.
All of this would not be possible without our tour captain a Charlie Shaw ( )who planned the entire thing.

(1/2) As everyone arrives home there is much to be thankful for from this Portugal tour.
We played some great rugby. We had old boys suit up after years of retirement. We had many tour debuts. We met some wonderful teams. And we did all while on the beers.
Thank you to the following clubs:
C.F. Os Belenenses ( )
Associação Académica de Coimbra ( )
Moita Rugby Clube da Bairrada (
You were all so incredibly welcoming and fun, not to mention great at rugby. Many of us are still finding bruises.
*In hindsight we should not have taught you to boat race – turns out you’re great at that as well.
Thank you to the Old Boys that made the journey and suited up, your expertise is invaluable, and I know Perry was chuffed to have someone to smoke ci**rs with.
Thank you to the coaches ( + ) who took time out of their trip to get us prepared to play and showed your unflinching will during Kangaroo Court.
Thank you to the Banshee Babes. They are more than just the greatest supporters; they are part of the team. Thank you for hauling waters up the slopes of Lisbon, for allowing us to play, and overall putting up with us.
Thank you to Sky High Sports Rugby Tours ( ) for schlepping us across the country. And to our dearest Tom (.mccallum25 ) tour would not be the same without you

Final game on tour. Not the result we would have preferred, but there was no quit and the boys fought throughout.
