1. We are again looking for folks to Adopt a Trail segment. With this you or you and your group agree to do general overgrowth trimming on a trail segment of your choosing. This usually ends up being three times a year. Use your own tools or coordinate with the trail crew to use ours. Message us here to sign up or ask questions. Thanks in advance!

2. Great news! We completed the middle section of Enchanted Forest last night! 🔥 🎉 Now if you enter it from the top of Sidewinder (just before you get to the double track that takes you to Goat), it's full length is about 1.2 miles. The first section is a slightly more difficult green.

Our first trailwork day of the season is Monday May 18th. We're using trailbot for trailwork communications this year. Go to trailbot, then events and you should be able to see our Battle Creek Trailwork event. If you login, you can even let us know you're coming!

The trail is getting close but not quite ready. It’s still greasy in spots and there is still 2’ of snow at the XC trail crossings by the rec center. Soon, but not quite yet.

Little Bellas is coming to Battle Creek again this season. Looking for girls ages 8 - 13 who want to make friends, ride bikes and have tons of fun in the park! Mondays 6 - 8 pm starting May 11th.

Mountain bike trails are closed at Battle Creek October 20-22 and again November 3-5.

For those planning ahead, BC will be closed on October 20th - 22nd and Nov 3- 5th for the Ramsey County Cooperative Deer Management program. Status will be updated on Trailbot. Thank you.

New trail section open! 🔥 After many hours of work this Spring/Summer we've got a .45 mile section of the start of Enchanted Forest open!

Enter it at the end of Sidewinder. Look for the sign that tells you to take a left. If you've gone to the double track that takes you to Goat, you've missed it!

Enjoy the .45 miles of winding trail. At the end of this section you have the option of going straight to get onto Poison Nettle near the beginning, or take a right then exit the new trail at the intersection of Higher Ed and Poison Nettle. From here you can take a right on the double track to get to the rest of Enchanted Forest.

Eventually we will have the two Enchanted Forest sections connected, but for now, stay off the trail in progress section.
