MFES’s goal is simple: to instruct members in the proper and safe use of firearms. MFES is not a political organization; we don’t take a position for or against any proposed legislation or candidate, nor do we affiliate with organizations that do. We just believe that in a country where there are more guns than there are people, we’re better off when folks know how to handle firearms safely. Just safety training and range trips.

Last MFES range trip of the year!
Safety meeting at 7:00 tonight in CC 215!!!
The final MFES range trip of the year will be on Thursday April 23. To come shooting, you must attend one of the safety meetings we have scheduled for this week:
CC 215 Tuesday April 14 6:30-7:00 or 7:00-7:30
CC 214 Wednesday April 15 6:30-7:00 or 7:00-7:30
CC 215 Thursday April 16 6:30-7:00 or 7:00-7:30
It's the end of the semester, people are busy, a lot probably didn't read every word of this email-- so for those of you who did, bring your friends along shooting! This is a great opportunity to get experience before the summer break!

Our 2nd range trip for this semester will be on Thursday, April 2nd. If you want to be eligible to go on this trip, you must attend one of the four safety meetings we have scheduled for this week:
CC 215 Wednesday March 25 6:30-7:00 or 7:00-7:30
CC 215 Thursday March 26 5:30-6:00 or 6:00-6:30

A pretty cool piece of history.
The mystery of the 132-year-old Wi******er rifle found propped against a national park tree Great Basin National Park staff have no idea how this rifle ended up sitting outside for more than 100 years. But they are trying to find out.
