Huge congratulations to Tommy Voshell on his commitment to Saint John’s University.

A constant threat on set pieces and one of the most dangerous attackers in the state, Tommy led the conference in scoring with 18 goals and added 8 assists on the season. His performances earned him both All-Conference and All-State honors.

Beyond the numbers, it was the grit and passion he brought every single day that defined his impact on this team. His competitiveness, leadership, and ability to step up in big moments helped drive this program forward.

Proud of you and everything you’ve given to Central. Go represent the program the right way at the next level.

Huge congratulations to Alex Cernea on his commitment to the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.

A team captain and a true presence in goal, Alex has been a wall for us. His consistency, composure, and ability to come up in big moments gave this team confidence every time he stepped on the field.

Beyond the saves, his leadership, communication, and standard he held the group to played a major role in shaping who we were as a team.

Proud of you and everything you’ve given to this program. Go represent Central the right way at the next level.

Huge congratulations to Elijah Moseman on his commitment to Saint John’s University to continue his basketball career.

A 4-year varsity player and captain, Elijah has been a true leader within our school and a key part of our soccer program. The way he carried himself every day, set the standard in training, and held others accountable is what helped drive the culture of this team.

He finished the season with 9 goals and 11 assists, consistently impacting the game and stepping up in big moments. None bigger than his crucial penalty in the Section Quarterfinal against East Ridge that helped send us to the Section Semifinals in 2025.

Elijah’s impact goes far beyond stats. He helped shape the identity of this program, and his leadership will leave a lasting mark on everyone who’s been a part of it.

We’re proud of you and everything you’ve given to Central. Go represent the program the right way at the next level.

This is a reflection of the work he’s put in day in and day out. Nothing given, everything earned.

We’re proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s next. Go represent Central the right way.

Central Male Athlete of the Year: Eli Mosemen

Today we’re proud to celebrate Eli Mosemen as Saint Paul Central’s Male Athlete of the Year.

Eli has been the heart of the Central Boys Soccer program for four years, serving as a program captain in all and setting the standard for what it means to lead. His impact goes far beyond goals and results, he helped build the culture of the program, held teammates accountable, welcomed younger players, and raised the level every single day.

Eli’s consistency, work ethic, and character shaped this program in a way that will be felt long after he graduates. On top of his success in soccer, Eli is also one of the top basketball players in the state, showing the same leadership and competitiveness across both sports.

The award was announced today, January 24, at the Dion Ford Scholarship Tournament at Saint Paul Central High School.

Congratulations, Eli. Your legacy at Central is real, and your impact will last. ❤️🖤
