Over the course of the next month we will be announcing our vendors and celebrity guests for the 2023 Let's Play Hockey Expo.

First on the list is a Minnesota Hockey legend who will be at the Expo both days.

Jack Carlson!

Jack was born in Virginia, Minnesota. He was selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the 7th round, 117th overall in the 1974 Amateur Draft. He played in over 500 NHL hockey games and made his mark with the hometown Minnesota North Stars.
During his professional hockey career, Jack scored 70 goals and 72 assists and had 1,251 penalty minutes. Jack was part of the 1981 Minnesota North Stars team that played in the Stanley Cup finals against the New York Islanders.

He was slated to appear as one of the Hanson Brothers in the 1970’s film ‘SLAPSHOT’; however, he was committed to play hockey with the Edmonton Oilers. Throughout Jack's career he has always been noted as one of the hardest hitting and toughest hockey players.

It's our privilege to announce that Jack will be appearing at the 2023 Let’s Play Hockey Expo at the St. Paul River Center March 10-11.
