Durham North Carolina was the first tour stop ever for us last year… A major lesson for our entire staff, going into it on paper everything would work exactly to plan, but in practice we had no idea and left it in God’s hands… We were as prepared as we could have been and trusted our future in him… I remember sitting on the roof just watching and praying that all the systems would come online properly and all the lighting equipment would cut on as we intended… When the count down began my heart raced so fast I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest, we hit zero and everything went dark… Those few seconds of transition I thought my career was over, the system didn’t work… Then suddenly everything sprung to life and the city of Durham began to glow neon, every fan in the stadium erupted in pure joy as the moving heads danced around and the players entered the field…. At that moment we all knew that Cosmic Baseball would take over the world… One year later we returned to Durham, half way through a 30 stop nationwide tour… The Cosmic Takeover tour, a new system, a new crew and a new sense of pride that each of us has worked countless hours, sleepless nights, missed events back home, all to put on the most insane show in sports entertainment… As we look back to that first tour stop and see our growth and progress, the blood sweat and tears that have gone into building something this magnificent… We can only be humbled and thankful for the good lord and his blessings as without him none of this would be possible… Thank you father god and all your blessings, your protection, the strength you instill in each of and for the grace and forgiveness you have for each of us when we are tempted to stray from your plan… In your glory and with you on our side, we can do anything…
