Join us at Young Dance this summer for a dance class designed to help caregivers connect with themselves and their little one!
In Dancing with Baby, caregivers and their babies explore innate ways of moving and being, individually, and in tandem. You can bring you preferred baby carrier, if you wish, or hold your baby as you dance. This class is not only a wonderful opportunity to encourage development in your child but is also a great way to connect with other caregivers with young children.

Get your tickets to our 39th season performance, Body As Voice, presented THIS WEEKEND, May 8 & 9, at the TEX BOX Theater at the Hennepin Center for the Arts!
In Body As Voice, Young Dance Company dancers investigate how movement can empower individuals to claim agency, speak up for themselves, and advocate for their communities. Through original choreography and collaborative artistic inquiry, the performance asks: How can dance serve as a tool for advocacy? How does the confidence built in the studio carry into the rest of our lives?
Featuring more than 30 talented dancers ages 8 to adult, Body As Voice brings these questions to life through bold, heartfelt performances that reveal the power of movement to inspire self-expression, courage, and connection.
Performances:
Friday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m. (FREE livestream)
Saturday, May 9 at 2:00 p.m. (Audio Described)
Saturday, May 9 at 7:00 p.m. (ASL Interpreted)
