-Refrigerated Rinks: If conditions allow, refrigerated ice rinks are expected to open on Dec. 6.
-Non-Refrigerated Rinks: Staff and volunteers are working hard to prepare the ice as quickly as possible, but we do not have estimated opening dates for non-refrigerated rinks at this time.

💻⛷️❄️🌱🏊‍♀️ Saint Paul Parks and Recreation's new registration system launches with ski and snowboard registration opening tomorrow, Dec. 6, and winter/spring activities and winter swimming lessons on Dec. 12.

Beginning today, December 5, registrants may begin to utilize our new registration software, RecTrac, for browsing certain activities. We will kick-off the transition with ski and snowboard lesson registration opening tomorrow, December 6 at 9am (details available at https://tinyurl.com/Ski-Snowboard-Lessons-2024). Full RecTrac implementation for all sites, programs, and activities will phase in throughout the month, with Rec Services winter/spring activity registration and winter swim lesson registration opening December 12.

What can you do to help?

💻 We recommend all users create a new account in RecTrac: https://web2.myvscloud.com/wbwsc/mnsaintpaulwt.wsc/splash.html (Click the “Sign In/Register” button in the top right corner.) You will need to create a username and password as well as enter your contact information.

💾 If you have any account history you would like to save from our old system, ActiveNet, we recommend downloading or taking screen shots of anything you’d like to save for your records.

No skis? No problem! Cross country ski rentals are just $12/day at four Saint Paul and Ramsey County locations. Ski passes start at $6/day and no pass is required for ages 12 and under.

NOTICE: The parking lot at Como Golf Course is currently closed.

Starting Monday, September 12 the parking lot at the Como Golf Course will be under construction for several weeks. The golf course will remain open during this time with parking available just behind Hole #5 in the Butterfly Lot (1237-1231 Kaufman Dr, St Paul, MN 55103). Golf course staff are available to shuttle golfers from the butterfly lot to the clubhouse. Please contact the clubhouse directly at 651-488-9673 with any questions or to make a tee time. Art imitates life in this festive recreation of the Highland National Golf Course clubhouse!

In 1927, when Highland Park Golf Course was opened, the city wanted a clubhouse with special character. Clarence “Cap” Wigington, one of only a hand full of African-American architects in the U.S., and the first black architectural designer for the City of St. Paul, was asked to complete the task. The Highland National clubhouse and the Highland Park water tower (the water tower behind the 14th green) were both designed by Wigington and built during the same time period.
