O'Fallon Fury FC

Congratulations to the 2014 O Fallon Fury Soccer Team for an outstanding year. After a 2-3-4 SLYSA Fall, the team made a 180 going 5-2-2 just missing 3rd place in the division. In addition, the team finished 2nd in the Gateway Memorial Classic winning the last two games after a tough loss to a solid Gallagher team. Great job by Coach Raychelle and the players turning around the season.

2006/2007 Tourney Spring recap:

Slow Starts/Great finishes by both the 2006 and 2007 Fury teams this Spring.

2007:

The 2007 team, adjusting to several new players this year, started slow missing the medal rounds in the first tourney's with a 2-4 record. The team starting clicking chemistry wise going undefeated (7 wins, 0 losses, 2 ties) the rest of the Spring winning the Metro Alliance Spring Cup, Premier Cup and unofficially the Gateway Memorial Classic (first place when weather cancelled the tourney after 2 games).

2006:

The 2006 team, dealing with several injuries the first month of Spring play that could not be overcome, started 1-4. Once the team got healthy, posting a 14-1-1 the rest of the season starting with a 2nd in the Aydin Gonulsen Memorial Tournament (Springfield, Ill) losing 2-1 to a U20 team in the final. The team went on to win 3 straight tourney's including the Nike Blue Chip Showcase (Cincinnati), Mo Rush Mothers Day Tourney (STL) and closing the season going 4-0 in Mid State Cup (Decatur, Ill) which included 3 shutouts,

Great turnaround by both teams. Congratulations to both players and coaches and also hoping to have everyone back next year to continue this success!

Your O’Fallon Fury 06 team traveled to Decatur IL this weekend to play in the MidState Cup tournament and finished in 1st place in the U18 divison!!! The team went 4-0 and beat Illinois Alliance Midstate 2-0 to finish the tournament as CHAMPIONS!! Congratulations to players and coaches on an outstanding tourney!!

I am a little behind on updates on all the teams so what better to start off than with winter indoor 23/24. Five Fury teams completed 2 sessions of indoor last month going a combined 77-12-1. The 2014 White team finished both indoor sessions unbeaten finishing 20-0. In addition, a mixed 2014 team won the Vetta Holiday Classic finishing with a 4-1 record, 3 of those wins by a goal including a 4-3 win against the Stars in the final. A mixed 2006 team finished second in the Vetta Holiday Classic losing 2-1 in the championship game after entering the game undefeated. Great job to all coaches and players!!
