What makes F45 Faith & Fit different?

We start class with the non profit of the month telling us more about who they are and what they do, 2 minute devotional, workout to the F45 template of that day and end with a stretch and prayer as everyone is relaxed and settled after a hard workout, and a good cool down.

I love Jesus! I love my relationship with Him! I love how He gently pulls me in and says Hey, come here, let’s do this together. I want to show you this. I want to grow your wisdom and knowledge in this area. I have revelation for you. I have gifts for you. I have more for you!!!!! My journey started in 2014 so I haven’t been in the church all my life. I knew of God. I searched for God even when I was a prodigal. I was drinking, doing drugs, living a not Christian life. But I was searching for Him. I’d go to random churches after a late night at the club. But then stop. I did this many times. Where I was truly introduced to God was at a gym. Yes AT A GYM! My trainer, who then was a spiritual mentor for awhile asked me to go to church. It was then my life changed. I haven’t gone back to where I once was. God has delivered me from so many things and has marvelously ruined my life. He has drawn me in on so many levels. The latest and I think one of the greatest is daily communion with Him. Yes, daily! I don’t have to wait for church, I don’t have to wait for the religious rules and guidelines that people get tied too. I get to sit and commune with Him daily. His blood cleanses all. I am not perfect and I am a work in progress, BUT the blood of Jesus cleanses all. It’s time of forgiving, repenting, chatting, remembering what He did for me and what He did for you on the cross. It’s time being with my Father. This book is for 40 days but something I will do for the rest of my life. Somedays are quick, somedays are longer and more holy, somedays I can’t read the book but still take it, other days my daughter and I do it together and it just precious. All I’m saying is give Him more of you. Watch your life change. Watch your heart change. Watch your body come into alignment with how He created you. Watch Him heal things like never before, spirit, soul and body! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Hearing the Voice of God
Prayer in its purest form is a love relationship with Father God. It’s an enjoyable relationship, not a religious activity. It’s the privilege of soaring to the very throne room of Father God to touch his face. Our souls are starved for this sense of awe—to speak and to hear from the living God who loves us and is waiting to share his heart with us.

Intimacy does not exist when our relationship is built on one-way speeches. As I pray to God, I’m fully aware that both of us will speak and both of us will listen. As you practice two-way prayer, listening carefully and humbly, you’ll hear him speak. And this prophetic interchange is not just limited to verbal communication. You can also expect to encounter him in other ways.

Regardless of how you hear him, this divine encounter will always do two things: it will change you, and it will give you ammunition for spiritual warfare. As you enter into prayer, the Father will not only speak to you, but he will also pray through you. You’ll become one who hears from God in the secret place during your personal alone time with him.

Sometimes people ask me, “How do I know when it’s God speaking and when it’s the enemy? I don’t want to be misled. I only want to listen to the Holy Spirit.” Here are some simple guidelines for knowing God’s voice and discerning when it’s not him, but the voice of the enemy.

• Jesus is a gentle Shepherd, and his voice drips with mercy. Jesus does not condemn your personal worth; but satan is a condemning and accusing intimidator.

• The Lord’s voice is often quiet and deeply internal; satan’s is intrusive and vulgar.

• The Holy Spirit calls and draws us; satan threatens, demands, and drives.

• The Lord’s voice lines up with Scripture; the enemy speaks lies.

• The Lord’s voice will bring a fresh “now” word that will change you and touch you; satan will lock you in the past.

• The Lord’s voice is rooted in hope; satan brings negativity or despair that leaves you feeling hopeless.

• God’s voice inspires us to love; satan inspires us to criticize others.

• Peace comes from God; satan brings anxiety.

• The voice of the Spirit will always glorify Jesus; satan glorifies self.

From the Devotional - THRONE ROOM PRAYER

Beautiful Realms of Prayer
The Lord loves diversity. That’s why he made us all so different and gave us different ways of viewing life. And because he made us all different, he has the wonderful ability to understand all of us when we pray with all our different needs. Some people pray with a prayer list of names and requests; some pray silently, and others shout and declare. There are as many ways to pray as there are people on the earth. To try to press people into one prayer model is unwise.

Other than the Lord’s Prayer, the Bible does not give us a preferred model of prayer. Rather, we find dozens of prayer models in the pages of Scripture. There are a hundred different ways that you come to God in prayer through the name and person of Jesus Christ. And there are many types of prayer in the Bible.

Try starting your encounter with God in prayer with extended seasons of praise. It’s fine to be loud and rowdy, or you may choose to simply be quiet and reflective. Whatever your preferred method, it’s time to praise the Lord! We have to learn the secret power of praise; it is the way into the realm of glory.

Keep God busy answering your prayers. He won’t mind. Let him know what you need and be a holy reminder to the Lord. The more you ask, the more you’ll receive. So keep on asking, keep on seeking, keep on knocking, and the door of answered prayer will be opened for you (Matthew 7:7–11). Go ahead and run into God’s presence.

As you pour out your heart to the Father, I promise you that your devotion will only grow stronger, and your heart will come alive! Make sweet resolutions to love, follow, and obey Christ as you yield your spirit to him. He will fill you with his presence.

Purify My Heart & Motives

As we open up our hearts to the love of Christ, our hearts and motives are purified. Have you thought that you are too damaged, too broken, or too far from God to be used by Him? This idea that we must “fix” ourselves to come to God is a lie that can keep us trapped in shame and condemnation. The truth is that God loves us deeply and wants to meet us wherever we are, despite our sins. God blesses who you are, not who you pretend to be. Through an authentic relationship with God and receiving His love and mercy, we can open our hearts and minds to be purified by Him. We will always fall short of perfection; that is why we need Jesus to save and renew our lives. It's about progression and not perfection! As we lean into His presence and receive the free gift of his salvation and love, He will transform us, leading us to repentance and righteousness. We repent for times when we missed the mark in our words, thoughts, and actions. Our hearts and motives are purified as we experience His unconditional love, grace, and correction. Today, ask yourself, "what areas in my heart and motives can I surrender to the Lord to purify and make me more like Him?" Joy and freedom are found as we open our hearts and motives to be purified in God. We can re-present God and extend His grace and love to those around us. Imagine how our lives and those around us can be transformed through this time as we allow God to have His way in our hearts and minds!

Prayer:

Lord, I thank you for your grace and mercy. I thank you for your goodness and love that will never leave me. I pray you illuminate areas in my heart and motives where I am operating out of impurity. I repent for thoughts and actions that were unlike you. I pray for your guidance and wisdom. Speak to me today! Renew my heart, restore my motives, and transform me for your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.

In case you didn’t know WHO you were or WHOs you were. Here you go! You were created on purpose and for a purpose. Your body, your temple, is NOT your own. I am the temple of the Holy Spirit; I am not my own.

I am a child of God.
I am Gods workmanship.
I am a new creature in Christ.
I am a spirit being alive to God.
I am a believer, and the light of the Gospel shines in my mind.
I am a doer of the Word.
I am a joint heir with Christ.
I am more than a conqueror.
I am an over comer.
I am a partake of His divine nature.
I am an ambassador for Christ.
I am part of a CHOSEN generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people!

Now go and conquer the day!

“But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]. For if anyone only listens to the word without obeying it, he is like a man who looks very carefully at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he immediately forgets what he looked like. But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience].”

The world has alot of people who talk the talk but DO not walk the walk. It’s deceptive to themselves, but also deceptive to others. We have to watch and see and wait for awhile to see if what they are saying is actually who they are portraying. It’s sad we can’t take peoples word anymore. A hand shake on an agreement. A solid yes and actually do it. Now a days you can to have a signed contract, legal documents etc and STILL even then people break their promises. We have an “I” problem. What’s in it for me?

When you actually find someone who really really really loves Jesus and has a true relationship with Him they “glow” a little different. Their fruit is sweet and ripe. When they say something they actually do it. They apologize. They forgive and say I’m sorry. They love. When they make a mistake they own up to it. They grow to be more Christlike each day. Are they perfect? Nope, but at least they shoot for being a person of excellence each day! Not perfection. But excellence. To do their very best each day. When they mess up, they ask for forgiveness and TURN from their ways. Not do it again and again and again. But really change!

It takes time. But as time goes on you see the change.

Open your eyes! Do not be deceived and do not deceive yourself. You know what is right and what’s wrong……….
