9/23/26 UPDATE: The Woodlands Quad (21, 22, 23, 24) will play both games tonight. I will update regarding 25 within the next hour.

9/23/26- Games tonight are TBD as we are still waiting on word regarding the lights. We will update as soon as final decision is made.

9/21 and 9/22 update:

All games are canceled due to the lights at Woodlands not working yet and dusk arriving earlier each night. We are hoping to have them back up and running Wednesday.

Due to issues with the field lighting system last night, all 7:45 PM league games at Woodlands Sports Park are cancelled for this evening.

Teams scheduled to play the 6:00 PM games are requested to arrive and be prepared to start up to 15 minutes early in order to maximize playing time under daylight conditions.

Teams playing tonight should refer to Part II, Rule 1, Sec 11 which is found on page 26 and 27 of our 2026 rule book for what constitutes a complete game in the event that tonight's games are called due to darkness.

SPAA is opening up Strehl Fields for weekend practice rentals beginning September 1st!

Looking for some extra practice time?

Need a field for a scrimmage?

We’ve got you covered:

• All 4 fields available
• Great for team practices, extra individual work, or scrimmages
• Just $16 per 1.5-hour time slot beginning at 9 AM on both Saturday and Sunday.

It might have taken an extra day and a couple of alternative venues but the 2026 SPAA Middle School Tournament has come to a close.

51 Teams, 93 games, hundreds of runs scored, and thousands of pitches thrown in six days and we wouldn't have it any other way! Well, maybe with a little less rain and a little cooler temperatures...

Thank you to every player who participated and every family or friend that came to watch. Congratulations to everyone for giving it their all on the field.

Other than contending with some things that were truly out of our control, thank you for everyone's willingness to adapt to the changes so we could get every game of the tournament in.

And finally, a special thanks to Game 7 Baseball and the St. Charles Parks & Recreation Department for accommodating our last minute requests for field usage yesterday and today. Without their willingness to assist, we most likely would not have been able to complete every game on our schedule.

We hope to see this year's 6th and 7th grade teams back for another tournament next year and good luck to our 8th grade players as they move on to high school.
