RAF Sweetwater Legacy

Sharing this in honor of Saffie and Russell. Two souls forever intertwined—on the water, in song, in whatever comes next.

What a great time we had at the RAF Paddle & Jam! The paddle was beautiful! Saw some old faces and some new faces! 301 Travelers were awesome! We made raised over $500 for the Water Warrior Alliance! It was a great day!

Thank you to all who came out to get on the water, listen to the music, enjoy the food, and raise money for a good cause!

Special thank yous to Stella for helping plan the event and getting the details in order, David and Natalie Farrow (Russell's brother and SIL) for coming to support, the General Store and Market for giving us the space, Chad Maynard for guiding the paddle, 301 Travelers for the awesome music, and the Jenna from the Water Warrior Alliance for sharing your time and work with Russell!

Music by The 301 Travelers! The 301 Travelers will welcome all musicians to the stage, so bring your instruments. We all know how much Russell love an open jam!

Beer, wine, and snacks can be purchased at the General Store & Market. Loli's Mexican Food truck will be on site! Loli's was one of Russell's favorites!

This year's charity is the Water Warrior Alliance. Water Warrior Alliance unites like minded groups and organizations to come together to combat pollution. Russell supported this group by donating boats and time to coastal and water clean up, particularly the Salt Creek Clean Up.

There are more tables this year, but still short on chairs, so bring your lawn chair along!

Unfortunately we were unable to properly coordinate a paddle event for this weekend. I apologize for the short notice.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be rescheduling the 2nd Annual RAF Memorial Paddle to Saturday, September 23, 2023, in honor of Russell's birthday! Mark your calendars!
