Your Instagram ads are attracting bots and low-quality followers.
Here's the filter most coaches miss.
You spend money on ads. You get followers. But they're not real people. They're not your ideal clients. They're noise.
Here's what actually works: Every new follower you get, click on their profile. Check it out. If you see zero posts, very low follower count, and high following count? Remove them immediately.
Why? Because low-quality followers mess up your algorithm data. Instagram sees these accounts following you and starts showing your ads to similar profiles. You're training the algorithm to find the wrong people.
Then, adjust your audience settings. Play around with demographics, interests, and behaviors. If something isn't working, pause it and tell Meta why: "Low quality leads."
Meta is constantly updating its AI models. What worked in June might not work in December. You have to stay flexible and iterate.
When someone follows you, send them a message with a free gift button. If they click, they confirm and open a chat. After 23 hours, follow up asking how they found it and what they want to learn next.
If they don't click or respond? Remove them.
This is how you build a clean, high-quality audience. This is how your ads actually convert.
