Our SPCC Satellite Tennis Team hosted the final matches with 32 players competing across 9 courts Tuesday and the finale was full of energy, great rallies, and even better team spirit 🔥 Proud for another strong finish in 2nd place 💪

Two weeks ago we crowned our 2026 Club Champion, Trent Talbot. Last weekend he received the most ridiculously large trophy that could be found 🏆 In between you all voted on the best champion pose. The people have spoken. Pose 1 wins.

Grid post secured. Trophy secured. Now we just need that parking spot. Who knew crowning a champ could be such a complicated process?!

From our Beads & Birdies cocktail party to a fabulous luncheon and great competition on the course, this year’s event was filled with fun, friendship, and plenty of memorable moments. 🏆 A Century of Champions 🏆

St. Petersburg Country Club is proud to host the 100th Annual New Year’s Invitational, taking place January 2–4, 2026!

Played at SPCC every year since 1927, this historic event has showcased top amateur talent for nearly a century. Past champions include PGA TOUR pros Brandt Snedeker, Bob Goalby, Luke List, J.B. Holmes, Gary Koch, and Hayden Buckley, to name a few.

“We anticipate a very strong field for this milestone 100th New Year’s Invitational,” said Richard Hope, NYI Tournament Director. “We are pleased with our calendar position this year, and we expect many top players at the tournament.”

✨ In celebration of this milestone, the LECOM Suncoast Classic (a Korn Ferry Tour event) will once again award an exemption to the NYI champion, giving them the chance to tee it up alongside some of the best in the game this April at Lakewood National Golf Club.
