July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence, with festivities ranging from fireworks, parades and concerts to more casual family gatherings and barbecues.

On July 4, 1776, the 13 colonies claimed their independence from England, an event which eventually led to the formation of the United States. Each year on the fourth of July, also known as Independence Day, Americans celebrate this historic event.

🆕Starting this Friday I will be posting about how to deal with people who have a foreign accent that is difficult to understand. I believe both the speaker and the listener play a part in being understood. And who doesn’t like being understood?
