Today was a special trip aboard the Spanish Sardine fishing charters. 12 years ago, I took out a couple Joe & Jill with their 2 daughters Annie and Becca shark fishing. On that trip we landed 17 sharks. They mentioned how in all those years since they frequently talk about that fishing trip. Today, 12 years later they came back to go shark fishing. Once again it was Joe and Jill their daughter Becca and Becca’s friend Bane. Today we landed 9 sharks. I was trying so hard to beat that number from our previous trip but the rain bands were starting to move closer. Here are pics from 2012 & today’s trip mixed in. I hope they enjoyed their day

We had another great day on the water yesterday. Clients wanted to do a little bit of fishing and they wanted to go swimming/snorkeling. Started fishing for snapper. We got on them once again in deeper water. After 2 hours of catching snappers they had mentioned they went shark fishing with me before. I told them I was 2-6 the day before they asked if we could go and catch a few. Within 20 minutes we landed 3 shark 🦈. We Left them chewing and went snorkeling/swimming. Another great day water. Hope they had fun.

Great day on the water with Chelsie and Curtis. Moved around a bit and caught one here an one there. Then I decide to Move to a deeper spot on the channel and BOOM 💥 they were all there waiting on us. We Caught our 10 snapper and decided to go shark fishing. First bite didn’t take not even a few minutes We ended up 2-6. Tide died so we decided to call it a day. They took their snapper up to the wharf for a hook and cook. They do a phenomenal job with the fish and everyone loves the ambiance. So it’s a win, win. thank you! Hope you both had fun.

Great day on the water with Pete and his family. Love my repeat customers. Today we caught, flounder, Porkfish, Mangrove Snapper, grunts, red grouper and gag grouper. We worked hard for them today. We moved and hit many spots. Caught one here, one there another one over there and so on. By the end of the trip they caught enough to do a hook and cook at the wharf. I couldn’t have asked for better weather then today. It was just perfect.

Great trip aboard Spanish Sardine Fishing Charter. We were supposed to do an inshore trip today but after looking at the winds and the weather, I decided to venture out and do a nearshore trip instead. My friend Ash wanted to take her father Tim out for his birthday. Happy Birthday Tim. She also brought her mother Karen and her partner in crime Magno Kayla. Early morning we trolled for a few miles and not even a hit. Got to my spot and deployed my trolling motor. Everything powers up and nothing. Turn it off and power it again and nothing. The remote battery decided I needed to practice my anchoring skills. So I did. I threw the anchor and got right over my spot. As the anchor begins to settle Tim grabs a rod and puts the first bait out….. first fish was a grunt. We fished 25 dozen shrimp and managed to get a decent amount of fish. Today we saw blue runners, of coarse I put him out on the flat line, but nothing took him, smaller red grouper, Kayla got a really nice gag grouper, Cobia, Mackarel, remora, triggerfish, grunts, mangrove snapper and Tim got a nice hogfish. Today, Everyone is eating mangrove snapper thanks to Karen. She was on fire. Everyone contributed but Karen was for sure the angler of the day.
