I was tasked by my good friend @ontimespiva 's son Isaac to take Flat-Stanley on some adventures a few weeks ago. Well, Stan had a real Flying Adventure today. Stanley has mostly taken static pictures with airplanes @flysnf and helped around the hangar a little. He didn't get to fly with me in the show due to "required crew only" FAA rules ;) but today Stan got his chance!

Happy birthday 022
While looking for a tool in hangar today I found the original data plate from 022. Tattered and weatherd. I stuck it in my pocket to put with the logbooks for safekeeping. Only to notice later the date on the plate.
5-2-41. 85 years ago. To the day. 022 rolled off the assembly line to enter service with The U.S. ARMY AIR CORPS. Perhaps divine intervention to find it today. 5-2-2026. To hear the stories she could tell.

The weather this afternoon was absolutely perfect for a ride down the beaches!
