Had a great day throwing at the Virginia Scottish Games with the pro-elite classes, a super fun group of ladies and gents who made it fun to throw all day! narrated my caber for me so I could prove that I DO throw trees!

David was awarded the Athlete of the Day as recognition for coaching virtually everyone on the field throughout the day, and the crowds were steady and supportive throughout the day!!!

As is tradition, a skydiver joined us by landing ON the field at lunchtime, and the weather was GORRRGEOUS!!! The band was playing all day, the food smelled amazing, and I saw people singing, dancing, and enjoying every aspect of the many offerings of the festival!

If you're in Virginia and you're NOT going to this event every year, you're missing out!! We look forward to this festival every year!

LAST day in Australia.... so sad to see it end, but what an AMAZING trip. Today we went to the Yarra Valley for wine tasting, chocolate sampling, and a gin tasting (4 Pillars Distillery!). We finished off the day with dinner at an Italian spot in Melbourne that our tour guide recommended, , which was DELICIOUS!!! We've had the most amazing time, and i feel so fortunate to call these people my friends and to have gotten to experience this. ❤️

Brighton Beach!!!

It was a rainy day in Sydney, but we managed to get a nice walk through Hyde Park and to the Sydney Opera House! Tickets were sold out, but we managed to get in on a last-minute few tickets that were released (hooray for persistence paying off!), and we got to go on a walking tour of the inside!!! Our tour guide, Evi, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about its history and upkeep, and it is BEAUTIFUL inside!! And there is SO much going on there! It was amazing!!

More pics from yesterday. From Sydney Harbour to Featherdale Animal Park to Leura and then on to Scenic World. Then, back to Sydney Harbour and dinner by the water. It was an amazing day!! I love Australia!!!!

Early start today in Sydney. We started with an early breakfast and then met the tour bus at 7:15. Then, with a stop at the Featherdale Wildlife Park, we got to stop and feed some kangaroos, WE GOT TO PET a KOALA, we saw Quokkas!!!, and more!!! More pics to come, but it was an amazing, beautiful, jam-packed day with my people, and my inner child is still SQUEALING about the KOALA!!!! Life is GREAT!!!

Port Arthur - amazing and far more than "just" an old prisoners' colony. Absolutely gorgeous grounds, right on the Tasmanian Sea..... we did a boat tour over onto the Isle of the Dead as well. Just a wonderful day with some of the people I love, exploring and learning. Life is good
