While we take this time to remember the courage of those before us, we also want to pause and express our deepest gratitude to the brave servicemen and servicewomen who have served our country. We honor the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families, and we are truly thankful for their courage and dedication.

Rest in Peace, my dear friend, Shihan Roberto Hernandez. 🙏

Today, the martial arts world lost a man whose passion, discipline, and love for the arts touched countless lives. Men like Shihan Roberto never truly leave us. Their spirit lives on through every lesson taught, every student inspired, and every act of courage, discipline, and kindness.

Thank you, my friend, for the gift you gave to me and so many others, the gift of dedication, hard work, and pursuing mastery. You showed us what it means to love something so deeply that obstacles become opportunities and practice becomes purpose.

Many people go through life never finding what they truly love. You found your passion and gave your whole heart to it. It showed in your movements, demonstrations, teachings, and the way you lived.

I am honored to have known such a rare diamond of a person.

To those of us still here, may his passing remind us:

Life is short.
Love deeply.
Train passionately.
Teach generously.
Serve others.
Do not wait to become who you were meant to be.

Let us honor our brother not only with words, but by continuing to love what we do, pursue excellence, and carry that same fire into our daily lives.

May his death bring more life to the living.
May his legacy continue through our actions.
May we all remember that passion is one of the greatest gifts a human can possess.
