The textile-rich heritage of the southeast and the communities that are at its core are near and dear to us. That’s why Recover’s Made in USA styles are made within a 250-mile radius of our HQ in North Carolina, from material sourcing to cut and sew, providing local jobs and greatly reducing carbon emissions. Aiming to be a driver in supporting local employment, education, and communities, Recover has invested in local infrastructure in small towns in the southeast to support jobs and provide demand for recycled materials right here at home.
Central America
Sustainability is at the core of what we do at Recover; not just from the materials that we use, but also where and how we make the product. Our state-of-the-art factory in El Salvador is a fully integrated vertical manufacturing facility where every step of the supply chain is done within the same facility - from spinning recycled fibers into yarn to sewing a finished garment. By controlling our supply chain and having everything under one roof, we can offer exceptional quality with quick leads and affordable pricing. Plus, our carbon footprint is significantly minimized by eliminating transportation throughout the supply chain.
RECYCLED COTTON
What It Is:
Cotton fiber that is made using post-industrial cotton waste
Why We Use It:
It is a lower-impact alternative to conventional cotton. Using recycled cotton for apparel helps to keep waste out of landfills and limits resource use for virgin cotton production. It saves water, energy, and land while limiting pesticide use and greenhouse gas emissions.
The Recover Difference:
We utilize third-party certified 100% recycled post-industrial cotton in our 100% recycled fiber blend for our Eco, Fleece, and Classic product collections. We also have 100% material supplier traceability for our Eco, Fleece, and Classic collections, which means we know exactly where and how this material is made!
RECYCLED PET
What It Is:
Polyester fiber that is made using post-consumer plastic waste
Why We Use It:
It is a lower-impact alternative to virgin polyester. Using recycled polyester for apparel helps to divert plastic waste from landfills and our environment. It also saves water and energy, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

We utilize third-party certified 100% recycled post-consumer polyester in our 100% recycled fiber blend for our Eco, Fleece, Classic, Sport, and Sport Elite product collections. We also have 100% material supplier traceability for our Eco, Fleece, Classic, Sport, and Sport Elite collections, which means we know exactly where and how this material is made!
ORGANIC COTTON
What It Is:
Organic cotton fiber that is made from cotton grown following strict organic standards
Why We Use It:
It is a lower-impact alternative to conventional cotton. Growing organic cotton avoids using pesticides and fertilizers that are harmful to plant and animal biodiversity, as well as people and water supplies.
The Recover Difference:
We utilize third-party certified 100% USDA organic cotton for our Organic product collection. We also have 100% material supplier traceability for our Organic collection products, which means we know exactly where and how this material is grown and processed!
