Want to see the work in the facility show up on the field? Check out 8-year-old Randy 🇨🇺 Loredo Jr. competing in 10U—throwing out runners and blocking the ball effectively.

Those game-time moments come from consistent work and trusting the fundamentals. Great job, Randy!

Our catching classes start next Tuesday, November 10. Message us for more information.

Thank you, Aaron, for trusting Silverback Performance with Joaquin and Diego. The work continues. 💪

THESE KIDS WEREN’T JUST RUNNING A 60-YARD DASH. THEY WERE RUNNING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY THAT COULD CHANGE THEIR LIVES. 🇩🇴⚾

During our recent trip to the Dominican Republic, we had the opportunity to assist with player evaluations alongside scouts from the Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies.

We brought our OVR Gate Timers and Rapsodo 3.0 to help provide accurate performance data on these young athletes as they showcased their abilities.

But what stood out to me the most wasn't the technology, the numbers, or even how fast these boys ran.

It was the look on their faces.

Watch these videos closely.

Look at their expressions. Look at the effort. Look at how they push their bodies through every single yard of that 60-yard dash.

These kids weren't just trying to run a good time.

They were running like their lives depended on it.

And in some ways, I understood why.

For many young baseball players in the Dominican Republic, an opportunity to perform in front of a professional scout represents something much bigger than baseball.

It's an opportunity to be noticed. An opportunity to help their families. An opportunity to potentially change the direction of their future.

And sometimes, they don't know when that next opportunity will come.

Standing there watching these boys run was both heartwarming and heartbreaking.

Heartwarming because of the determination, passion, and absolute effort they gave.

Heartbreaking because you realize just how much pressure and hope can be riding on something as simple as a 60-yard dash.

The parents who traveled with us and witnessed these evaluations firsthand understood exactly what I was feeling.

There was something different about watching these kids compete when you understood what the opportunity meant to them.

I've been involved in baseball for most of my life, and I've spent the last 12 years helping young athletes develop their abilities.

But experiences like this remind me that baseball is so much bigger than mechanics, velocity, exit speeds, tournaments, and rankings.

Sometimes, baseball represents hope.

Sometimes, baseball represents a way to provide for your family.

And sometimes, 60 yards represents the opportunity of a lifetime.

I don't know what the future holds for these boys. I don't know if any of them will ever sign a professional contract.

But I know one thing.

On that day, they gave everything they had. And I will never forget watching them do it.

🎃 THANK YOU, SILVERBACK FAMILY! 🦍

What a great night.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Halloween Party and helped make it such a fun evening for the kids and families. We really appreciate everyone who brought food, candy, treats, drinks, and most importantly, great energy.

And that’s probably what stood out the most — the energy just felt good. It genuinely felt like everyone wanted to be there. Nobody was there because they had to be. People were laughing, talking, hanging out, and enjoying each other’s company. There was a lot of love in the building, and you could feel it.

Nights like this remind us that Silverback Performance is about more than baseball. We want this to be a place where athletes can work hard and develop, but also a place where families feel connected, welcomed, and part of something bigger.

The costumes were awesome, the kids had a blast, and seeing everyone together made the night special.

Thank you for continuing to support Silverback Performance and for being part of what we’re building. 🦍⚾️

This is exactly what Silverback Performance was built for.

Not just giving athletes a place to practice, but creating a structured development plan that helps them improve throughout the week.

For Spring 2027, we’re looking for families who understand that team practice and games are only part of the process.

The real work happens in the training.

If you’re looking for a different approach to spring baseball, take a look at what we’re building. 🦍

A lot of families are looking for the right baseball situation for Spring 2027.

At Silverback, we’re approaching this season with one goal: build the right group of athletes and families around development, training, accountability, and learning how to play the game at a high level.

We will compete. We will play to win.

But our responsibility goes far beyond what happens on tournament weekends.

Each athlete will follow an individualized development program throughout the week in addition to team practice, with specific areas of focus based on what that athlete needs to improve.

We want to see our players becoming better hitters, defenders, throwers, decision-makers, and competitors throughout the entire season—not simply playing more games.

We’re currently meeting individually with families interested in what we’re building.

If we don’t believe an athlete is ready for this team yet, we’ll be honest about that too—and we’ll help identify the right development path to get them there.

One team. The right families. A clear purpose.

Beau Knight (12U) was back at Silverback Performance, this time for our hitting clinic.

Beau shows plenty of power and brings a competitive mindset to every rep. He wants to perform well, and you can tell that doing things the right way matters to him.

This swing registered a 69.4 mph exit velocity with a 17-degree launch angle and traveled 168 feet.

Beau is a young athlete I definitely want to watch develop over the years. If he continues putting in the work and improving his consistency, I can see him becoming a very good baseball player.

Keep working, Beau. The potential is there. 💪🦍⚾️
