50,000 Step Journey!! 24 miles, 6 hours and 40 minutes, and 50,000 steps for me!
I did this to prepare everyone for the 50,000 step walking challenge we are doing on June 14th. I wanted to know exactly what it felt like so I could give all of you the best advice and preparation possible.
It was definitely a journey!! One thing I can already tell you is that if you plan to complete all 50,000 steps, your AirPods will probably die and so will your Apple Watch, especially if you are listening to music or an audiobook the entire time. Start planning now for charging options, backup headphones, or portable chargers because you will want them!

Sunday’s workout will be HYROX again!!
For those who missed it last time, we’re doing it again! It’s going to run longer than our typical Sunday workout, extending from 60 minutes to about 90ish minutes.
Remember, you can always leave whenever you need to. Showing up for any amount of time is better than not showing up at all!

8:00 a.m. workout at the gym, then we’ll head to Bush Park for the 9:30 a.m. 5K put on by South Salem High School.

SAVE THE DATE 📢
We are going to be coordinating a “50,000 steps challenge WALK”
June 14th, time tbd
We’re going to have two locations on the route with bathrooms and snacks.
We will have alternative options for people who aren’t able to walk or who would like to participate in another way! The only ask is that there is no running! This is a walking challenge on purpose ☺️
Still working out all the details. We will announce to check your emails when our plan is set!!

Sunday: 8am workout then 5k at South Salem High School, 9:30am!
