Congratulations to Neli Dalgas and Braxton Singleton on their outstanding recognition at the Salem-Keizer High School Sports Boosters Beacons Awards!🏆👏🏽

👏🏽 Neli Dalgas was named Girls Cross Country Athlete of the Year for the FOURTH consecutive year—an incredible accomplishment and a testament to her consistency, dedication, and excellence.

👏🏽 Braxton Singleton earned Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year and Boys Football Athlete of the Year honors, capping off an unforgettable senior year!

North Salem was represented throughout the evening, with Wrestling Coach Andy Pickett being named S-K Coach of the Year, Max Rodriguez earning Boys Wrestling Athlete of the Year, and former longtime North Salem teacher and baseball coach Chris Lee being recognized as a North Salem Beacon.

BACK-TO-BACK🥇👏🏽

Braxton Singleton closed out his career by winning his second consecutive OSAA 6A State Championship in the 110m High Hurdles and placing 6th in the 300m Hurdles. His 300m hurdle performance set a new senior class record and ranks #2 all-time in school history (39.35).

Braxton leaves North Salem as the school record holder in the 110m hurdles (14.33), as well as the sophomore, junior, and senior class record holder. More importantly, he raised the standard for what is possible in our program.

Thank you for the memories, the leadership, and the legacy. We’re proud to call you a Viking ⚔️
