Appreciation Post!
We’ve been so incredibly blessed to have Mr. Barkes as our principal. Mr. Barkes has been instrumental to the success of our Unified programs and the success of our school. Without his leadership and willingness to accept my many crazy ideas over the years, I can honestly say we would not be in the position we are in now. Students today don’t know a life without inclusion, they see their peers of all abilities in their classrooms, halls, lunch room, and at events - something that when I was in high school (almost 20 years ago 👀) was not possible. Chad will be sooooo missed. If you have any fun memories or some words of thanks/encouragement, please share them here. Thanks for always being willing to step into something silly!
