I first studied CST in 2002. Most people have never heard of this incredibly healing modality. I incorporate it mostly at the end of a massage treatment. The response is usually "I like what you did at the end there". Recently took the classes again and the effects people are having are amazing!! We don't realize how much stress & trauma is stored in our body. Here is a response from one of my clients. OUR BODIES KEEP THE SCORE!!
"Michelle Gallant is an exceptional therapist. Her expertise in cranial sacral therapy is evident in both her technique and her presence. I have experienced persistent tension and discomfort around my head and neck for years. After just one treatment, there was a noticeable improvement in blood flow and a significant reduction in pain. The session was deeply effective and left a lasting impact physically and emotionally. While some of the language around this work may seem abstract, the results are tangible and real. I highly recommend this treatment to anyone dealing with chronic tension or unexplained discomfort.

A “Hallmark Holiday” is the sentiment many have of Valentine’s Day. A yearly opportunity for retailers to profit off of “love” ~ gifts of chocolates, jewelry, fine dining. Also, a challenging day for those who may not “feel” love in their lives. How about an alternative to the material expressions on Valentine’s Day, one that may feel a bit more authentic? One that involves self-love, Therapeutic Massage.
When you consciously begin to practice self-love, usually attention and awareness needs to turn inward. Enter the silence and listen... What is it that would truly benefit my “being” ~ physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually? WAIT A MINUTE!! How do I even enter the silence??? I was reminded in one of my favorite poems by Dana Faulds,
To have no goal but to be in the moment ….. Listen with intimacy….
This silence may seem unattainable, considering how loud the head can be sometimes!
No worries, it can be done and I can help! Receiving therapeutic massage will give you access to the silence and present moment awareness. As the body relaxes, the mind will soon begin to quiet as it focuses on sensations in the body, lowering the volume in the mind.
As tension is eased out, muscles soften and energies are freed. Freeing of this life force energy will enhance physical health, reduce mental tension and fatigue, allow challenging emotions to be more accessible and a greater sense of wholeness will be perceived.
Receiving massage on a regular basis is a practice of self-love. Nurture yourself in this healthy loving way, be your own Valentine!

We all know how it feels to occasionally get a poor night's sleep. However, if sleeping poorly becomes more frequent, sleep deprivation can begin to cause an inflammatory response within the body. Ayurveda contends that inflammation is the root cause of many imbalances, which if left unchecked, will lead to sickness and poor health. Western medicine has linked the development of heart disease, diabetes, stoke, cancer and Alzheimer's disease to increased inflammation.
Ayurveda, the Indian science of how to live a healthy life, puts a great deal of emphasis on quality sleep to ensure healthy body & mind. Ayurveda acknowledges that each one of us is different, therefore, we each have different requirements as to how much sleep is beneficial for our well being and how to attain quality sleep.
When sleep is elusive, Ayurveda concerns itself on an individual level, what can be shifted to bring about optimum sleep? Some of the variables that are considered in the equation relate to diet and routines. As an Ayurvedic Lifestyle consultant, I can help you determine what may be out of balance based upon your personal constitution and offer recommendations to help get you a great nights sleep! Most of the recommendations are quite easy to implement. The body is very receptive to altering course toward healing when we give it what it needs. Please contact me for more information to receive your personal consultation. [email protected]
In the meantime, I will be offering a Yoga Nidra this Sunday at 11:00 AM on the Zoom platform. Yoga Nidra is a guided, sleep based meditation that you can't do wrong. It is one tool Ayurveda uses to reboot the nervous system to promote healing and wellness. All you will need is your viewing device, a blanket and pillow and an environment conducive to relaxing (no phones, tvs or pets) To attend visit https://heart-of-bliss.square.site and select the Yoga Nidra option. I will send you a Zoom link once I receive your registration.
Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] with any questions. A good night's sleep is priceless so don't wait!
Here's to sweet dreams!
