McMinnville Girls Tennis

Tonight was senior night for our 5 seniors! Our last home league match went out with a bang winning all 10 matches against Century. Wishing the best to these senior girls on their next adventures.

Beach retreat! The girls got to plan and make dinner (macaroni and cheese with hot Cheetos 🤷🏻‍♀️) and breakfast. The rain stopped long enough for a walk down to the beach. Thanks to the Angevine’s and Szedlak’s for letting us use your beautiful home!

Another win for the Grizzlies! And I think we have an official ball boy 🎾

Courts might be wet, but it hasn’t dampened our spirits! Thanks Verle and Dawn Walters for the mid-match delivery!

Girls had a tough loss tonight against Westview but played some awesome tennis! Keelie, Mollie, Savannah and Emely finished with some wins 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

For the first time in 36 years, all the semifinalists in the women's singles division of the US Open are American! So proud. Matches are on this evening- don't miss the excitement!

Avari and Lily performed beautifully yesterday at State. They won their first round match 6-4, 6-2 and played in a tough 3 set match round 2, ultimately losing that battle. One game had 13 deuce points and lasted almost a half hour! These two know how to play through injury and adversity with grace- we couldn't be more proud of them! Great job ladies!

These two just WON LEAGUE! In a an awesome final match. So proud. Great work girls!!!

We've gotten through three long days of Districts and the girls have all had some great performances. Avari and Lily are qualified for state and heading into the semifinals tomorrow. Zelma got all the way to the quarters. Amy and Emme will play in the consolation semifinals tomorrow morning. One more day left! 💪🏼
