Athletics Giving Challenge 🎉
We Still Need Your Help! We are inching closer to our goal for the Elizabeth Campus Resurfacing Campaign. This project encompasses comprehensive repair, leveling of uneven surfaces, and the application of a durable, high-quality tennis court surface.
Starting at noon on October 8th, we will be launching our Athletics Giving Challenge. This will be our first 36 hour giving event which will end on October 9th at midnight. We are officially launching our Elizabeth Campus Tennis Facility Resurfacing Campaign! In 2012, the Tennis Facility on Elizabeth Campus opened for play. With a total of 8 courts, it became one of the best outdoor collegiate tennis facilities in Virginia. The courts have seen hundreds of matches and have been home to countless victories for the Maroons.
Hardcourts do not have an infinite lifespan. They need to be resurfaced every 6 to 8 years, and since the construction of the facility, the courts have not been resurfaced. This means our tennis courts are in need of urgent resurfacing.

RC VICTORY ALERT
Both the Men’s and Women’s Teams defeated conference opponent Bridgewater 5-4 and 7-1 (number 6 singles was not finished due to darkness)! Lance Beheler was the deciding match, and due to darkness, the final game was played at the Salem Civic Center courts.
Both the Men’s and Women’s teams take the court tomorrow with an away match against Ferrum!
