Due to the winter storm coming this weekend, we will postpone the Storm Youth Clinic until likely a day in February. Once I confirm with the bowling center on an available date, I will get the information out at that time. Also, for every youth that has already registered for the clinic, you’ll remain as such. Once I announce the new date if you are unable to attend please let me know so that someone else can have an opportunity to attend.

Here in Kingsport TN for the PBA 50/60 Baker Doubles tournament. Bowling with my good friend Ronnie Horton tomorrow. Very strong field to contend with! Many HOF’rs and it’s going to be a blast competing!
Practice went very well today on the 39’ Mike Aulby pattern. Just need to transfer that into some solid shot making tomorrow. Rolling the best equipment SPI has to offer!

Wow! 9 coaching sessions today! Long day but what a blast helping fellow bowlers get better with their game.

Week one on recovery is in the books! Setting myself a goal to at least be back on the lanes coaching by end of April. PT full steam ahead!

Knee surgery is complete! Now for the recovery and rehabilitation. I’ve had numerous text messages asking about it so thought I’d put something out here. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. It really means a lot to me.
For my bowling friends and clients of my coaching, look forward to be back on the lanes as soon as possible! At minimum should be able for anyone wanting some sessions on the lanes by first of May, maybe? Thanks to all that have supported me and we’ll see ya soon!

Starting this Monday and Tuesday, for undetermined weeks to follow, Lee Hi Lanes will be putting out the 2023 USCB Open Championship Team and S&D patterns for practice. Many area bowlers will be heading to Vegas for this years tournament and this will be a great opportunity to get a feel for what you may face in tournament competition. While it is last year’s patterns, still gives an idea of bowling on a sport pattern. I will be on hand to assist with equipment discussion and surface adjustments will be offered through Ryano's Pro Shop Rocky Mount Bowling Center and Lee Hi Lanes.
Anyone interested may reply to this post or message me so that we can have an idea of participation. Will be available after 5:00.

I had an awesome past few days on the lanes! Not bowling, but coaching! From a first time finger tip grip conversion, thanks Ryano's Pro Shop Rocky Mount Bowling Center and Lee Hi Lanes for an awesome fit. A couple experienced bowlers who insisted they weren’t squeezing it. Four pieces of tape added and they were rolling it stronger and playing a completely different part of the lane than they were used to. A couple two handers that have pretty high rev rates but just couldn’t keep their balance and consistently post a shot. Changed their starting position, spine angle at delivery and reduced their energy at release and wow, they started really executing consistently!
So if you think you may be anything similar to these folks and want to improve, message me and let’s see if we can get you headed in the right direction.
With that said, I’m available for about the next 6 weeks and then I’ll be out of commission for a bit. As some may know already, dealing with another knee injury and will be having surgery in the near future. So let’s get your ball rolling better while I’m available.
