Down To Earth Dance Collective’s (DTE) first-ever Open Floor Night recently took place at RJ Dance Studio, and what an incredible evening it was!

More than 80 people came together between performers and audience members for a sold-out evening of dance, creativity, inspiration, and community. From salsa, ballroom, and West Coast Swing to belly dance, hula, contemporary contortion, and breakdancing, the stage was filled with an amazing variety of talent and passion.

The goal of Open Floor Night was simple: to create an intimate and relaxed space where passions and creativity could be shared with others. Judging by the audience response and the many people who shared afterward how inspired they felt, I’d say we accomplished exactly that.

A special thank you to Lora for opening the doors of RJ Dance Studio for this inaugural event and providing the space that made this evening possible.

A huge thank you to all of our performers and audience members for helping make the evening such a success.

We even wrapped up the night with nearly another hour of open dancing, which will definitely become a regular part of future Open Floor Nights!

Maybe you’ve never thought about performing before, but Open Floor Night was created to be an encouraging and supportive space to share your passion and creativity.
