Being on the sidelines during a game I get to see and hear a lot of things that you don't see or hear in the stands. One of the best examples of this was this past week at the William Byrd Middle school game. In the first photo #8 of WB, Ke'arion Burch lost 8-10 yards on the play, in the second photo Ke'arion was upset and trying to explain to the coach, I could hear the coach telling him not to worry about it there still more game to play and telling him the next play, In photo 3, the next play they call his number again and he runs it in for the touchdown. The last photo shows the coach congratulating him. I have seen all the coaches at William Byrd talk to their players, encourage their players, not just to make them better players but to help them be better young men. I have enjoyed photographing this team and hope that I have captured a few moments for them all to look back on. Thank you.

People are always asking me why I lay down on my stomach on the sidelines at a football game. Well, here are two prime examples of why I do this. The lower the angle the better and last night at the Ben Franklin William Byrd game when I laid down the runner came right at me and here are the results. 7 & 8 grade William Byrd Ben Franklin football. It was so hot out there not sure how they were able to keep going but they did. Both teams played with all they had till the very end.
